Hi Courtney, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Eagle & Co Weddings really grew out of a combination of things I’ve always loved: creating beautiful spaces, bringing people together, and figuring out how to make a hundred moving pieces somehow feel effortless.
Entrepreneurship has been part of my life for a long time. I started my first business when I was 18, and throughout my career I’ve worked in leadership, sales, operations, design, and client experience. No matter what industry I was in, I always found myself drawn to the same things—building something from the ground up, creating systems, solving problems, and making people feel genuinely taken care of.
Eventually, that led me into weddings. What started as a creative outlet quickly became something much bigger. I realized that wedding planning was this perfect intersection of everything I was good at and everything I enjoyed: design, logistics, organization, relationship-building, and being the person who stays calm when there are a million things happening at once.
I launched Eagle & Co Weddings in 2024, and since then it has grown into a full-service wedding planning and coordination company serving Nashville, Clarksville, and Middle Tennessee. We now offer everything from wedding management to partial and full-service planning, with a strong focus on celebrations that feel intentional, personal, and beautifully executed.
One of the things I’m most proud of is that the business has grown largely through relationships, referrals, and the trust of our couples and vendor community. We’ve had the opportunity to work at some incredible venues, become a preferred vendor with local venues, and even have our work featured in The Wed Society Nashville.
I’m still very much in the building phase, and I actually love that. Every wedding teaches me something, every couple challenges me creatively in a different way, and every year I get a little clearer on what I want Eagle & Co to become. My goal has never been to simply plan the most weddings possible. I want to build a company known for thoughtful design, exceptional organization, and for making couples feel like they can actually enjoy the season they’re in instead of being overwhelmed by it.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not—and I think that’s true of almost any business worth building.
One of the biggest challenges has been learning how to grow a business while still being deeply involved in the work itself. Weddings are incredibly personal, and there are so many moving pieces behind the scenes that clients never see. Balancing the creative side with contracts, timelines, vendor communication, marketing, finances, and all of the day-to-day business operations has been a learning experience in itself.
Another challenge has been learning when to trust my instincts. In the beginning, it’s easy to compare yourself to other planners, question your pricing, or feel like you need to do things the way everyone else does. Over time, I’ve become much more confident in the kind of experience I want Eagle & Co to provide and the types of clients and weddings that are the best fit for us.
There have absolutely been stressful weddings, unexpected problems, long days, and lessons I had to learn the hard way. But those experiences have also made me a stronger planner and business owner. I’ve learned that you can’t control every variable, but you can be prepared, communicate well, stay calm, and make sure your clients never have to carry the stress of what’s happening behind the scenes.
I think the challenges have ultimately shaped the business just as much as the successes have.
We’ve been impressed with Eagle & Co Weddings, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Eagle & Co Weddings is a wedding planning, coordination, and design company serving Nashville, Clarksville, and Middle Tennessee. We offer wedding management, partial planning, and full-service planning, so we’re able to meet couples wherever they are in the process.
I think what sets us apart is that we care equally about how a wedding feels and how it looks. Beautiful design is important to us, but so is making sure the day runs seamlessly, vendors are supported, timelines are realistic, and our couples feel taken care of from beginning to end.
We’re known for being organized, calm, detail-oriented, and very hands-on. I never want a couple to feel like they’re just another date on the calendar. Every wedding is different, and I really believe the planning experience should reflect the couple rather than forcing them into a formula.
Brand-wise, I’m probably most proud that Eagle & Co has developed a reputation for being both elevated and approachable. We love thoughtful, intentional design, but we’re also the people behind the scenes solving problems, moving chairs, steaming linens, answering vendor questions, and doing whatever needs to happen to make the day feel effortless for our clients.
More than anything, I want people to know that Eagle & Co isn’t just about creating a beautiful wedding. It’s about giving couples the ability to actually enjoy it.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My childhood was a little complicated, so when I think about my favorite memories, they’re usually the smaller moments rather than one big defining experience. I’ve always been very creative and independent, and I remember loving anything that gave me the chance to make, organize, decorate, or turn an idea into something real. Looking back, I can definitely see pieces of the person and business owner I eventually became in those moments.
