Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex Absher.
Hi Alex, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Unscripted Worldwide is a clothing brand that was started by 2 friends, Alex Absher and Renard Christian, who both have a love for clothing as well as being creative, and wanted to put our ideas out into the world. Little did we know when we did those first shirts we’d still be working and pushing this brand even further 12 years later. From selling items all over the world, to clothing appearing in music videos, and on television it is quite humbling to see what all we’ve been capable of over this last decade plus. We still feel like we’re just getting started and are excited to see where the road takes us.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’d say the road has been more like a roller coaster. There’s been ups and downs over the years, collections that didn’t do as well as we anticipated. However that is all part of the process and we wouldn’t be here today if we had given up during rough patches.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We here at Unscripted Worldwide try to do more than just sell people clothes. We want them to feel like they’re part of a community, and even more so feel like a friend when they shop with us. We have a great support group of people who have continuously shopped with us from day one, and that is very special to us.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Just keep pushing. You never know what your next idea will be, who you’ll meet, or rooms you end up in based off of a shirt or a hat you created.
