Meet Matthew Santana of Santana Global

Today we’d like to introduce you to Matthew Santana.

Hi Matthew, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey began with a simple desire to create something meaningful and help others turn their ideas into reality. Over the years, I’ve experienced challenges, growth, setbacks, and opportunities that shaped me into the leader and entrepreneur I am today.

I founded Santana Global in 2015 with a vision to create a platform where authors, entrepreneurs, creatives, and aspiring business owners could gain visibility, build their brands, and bring their ideas to life. What started as a vision grew into a multifaceted company offering publishing, marketing, media, consulting, education, and creative services.

Along the way, I became an author, publisher, speaker, mentor, and advocate for personal and professional transformation. I’ve written and published books, created educational programs, launched magazines, developed children’s literacy initiatives, and helped others build businesses and share their stories.

My journey has not always been easy, but every experience taught me something valuable. Today, I use those lessons to encourage others to recognize their potential, believe in their vision, and understand that their story can become someone else’s inspiration.

I often say, “Life is only for a moment.” That reminder continues to drive me to make every moment count, create opportunities for others, and leave a lasting impact through the work I do.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road. There have been many challenges, setbacks, disappointments, and moments when I questioned whether I was on the right path. Building a business while growing personally and professionally required sacrifice, patience, and resilience.

One of the biggest struggles was learning how to keep moving forward when things did not happen as quickly as I expected. I had to overcome financial challenges, unexpected obstacles, self-doubt, and the pressure of trying to build something meaningful while wearing many different hats.

There were times when I had to start over, rethink my strategy, and learn from mistakes. But each challenge taught me something. I learned that setbacks are not failures—they are opportunities to grow, adjust, and become stronger.

The road has been challenging, but it has also shaped me into the leader, entrepreneur, author, and visionary I am today. I wouldn’t change the journey because every struggle helped prepare me for where I am now.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Santana Global?
Santana Global is a media, publishing, education, marketing, and business development company founded in 2015. Our mission is simple: help people turn their ideas, stories, and visions into something real.

We work with authors, entrepreneurs, creatives, speakers, and organizations to help them build visibility, develop their brands, publish their work, and create opportunities for growth. Our services include book publishing and self-publishing support, magazine publishing, branding and marketing, website development, photography and videography, podcast creation, workshops, consulting, and business education.

One of the things that sets Santana Global apart is that we look beyond a single service. We help clients build the bigger picture—from an idea or personal story to a complete brand. We believe your story, expertise, and vision can become a powerful platform when they are presented strategically.

I am especially proud of the Santana Global Reads division and our growing collection of children’s books, educational resources, and literacy-focused projects. We are also proud of the Santana Global Magazine and our continued work creating platforms where entrepreneurs, authors, creatives, and community leaders can be seen and celebrated.

Another major part of our brand is education. Through workshops, business programs, and community initiatives, we give people practical tools to develop their skills, build businesses, and become more confident in their vision.

What I want readers to understand about Santana Global is that we are more than a publishing or marketing company. We are a platform for possibility. Whether someone wants to publish a book, launch a business, increase their visibility, create a brand, or finally bring an idea they’ve carried for years to life, Santana Global is designed to help them move from vision to execution.

I am most proud that the brand continues to evolve while staying rooted in its original purpose: creating opportunities, amplifying voices, and helping people build something they can be proud of.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I believe the publishing, media, marketing, and entrepreneurship industries are going to become even more digital, personalized, and accessible over the next 5–10 years. Artificial intelligence will continue changing how people create content, market businesses, publish books, and reach audiences. I also believe personal brands will become increasingly important as individuals build businesses around their knowledge, stories, skills, and experiences.

Another major shift will be the growth of independent creators and entrepreneurs. People no longer have to wait for a major publisher, corporation, or traditional media outlet to give them an opportunity. With the right tools and strategy, they can create their own platforms, products, communities, and audiences.

I also see a growing demand for authenticity. People want to know the person behind the brand. They want real stories, real experiences, and businesses that have purpose—not just products.

For Santana Global, these changes create tremendous opportunities. My goal is to continue combining technology, media, publishing, education, and personal branding to help people stay ahead of these changes. I want Santana Global to remain a place where people can learn, create, publish, build, and grow as the industry continues to evolve.
