Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Feveryear.
Hi Megan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started as a fan of the music that I now work within. Moving to attend College at Liberty University, interning at the college Record Label, eventually graduating and accepting a job from a mentor of mine who had his own business in Nashville, which brought me to move from my home state of Pennslyvania to Tennessee. Now working within Social Media, Photography, and Live Events in Nashville, TN!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road. The journey has been filled with ups and downs. Many of them filled with doubt in myself, or simply trying to push down doors that just were never supposed to be opened. That is key, to know the doors that are to be purposed and to know the ones that are not supposed to be opened!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am first and foremost know to my friends and family as Megan, just Megan no tag line. To the industry I work in I am known for my work in social media, photography, and event coordinator. I am most proud of the take and passion I take in my work and the ability to relate to the artists I work with. I truly believe when we show a genuine interest in people, it sets us a part from the crowd!
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Most people who I work alongside in the industry, typically have a background in the music industry or some area where they got their “big break.” I grew up in a rural community, and have no background in the music industry, for me it was nothing but God’s incredible grace and hard work to get me to the place I am at today.
