Hi Kela, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My entrepreneurial journey began several years ago with my passion for creating wigs. What started as something I genuinely enjoyed doing gradually developed into a business. Over the years, I continued to invest time into learning, practicing, and advancing my skills, which allowed me to grow creatively and professionally and build my brand into what it is today.
My journey into baking began as a hobby. A friend once asked me to create a birthday cake for her, and that opportunity sparked something new for me. I began practicing consistently, refining my techniques, and challenging myself to improve with every cake I made. Over time, that hobby evolved into a growing business and another creative outlet that I’m incredibly proud of.
Both businesses have been built through passion, dedication, continuous learning, and a willingness to grow. I’m grateful to God for every opportunity, every lesson, and every step that has brought me to where I am today. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited to continue growing, evolving, and turning my passions into something meaningful.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Like any business, there have been slower seasons and times when things didn’t go exactly as planned. However, I’ve learned that those seasons are part of the journey. It’s all about how you adapt, pivot, and continue moving forward. Those experiences have taught me to remain flexible, stay consistent, and find new ways to grow even during the slower times.

I’m a proud entrepreneur with businesses centered around two things I genuinely enjoy: beauty and baking. Through my wig business, I specialize in creating high-quality, ready-to-wear wigs that are designed to provide both convenience and confidence. I focus on quality, customization, and creating an experience that allows my clients to feel beautiful without compromising their personal style.
My baking business allows me to express my creativity in a completely different way. I specialize in custom cakes, cupcakes, and desserts for birthdays, celebrations, showers, anniversaries, and other special occasions. I enjoy bringing each client’s vision to life while paying close attention to the details that make their order unique.
What sets my brands apart is the personal touch I bring to everything I create. I care about quality, presentation, and making sure my customers feel confident in what they receive. I’m most proud of the growth of both brands and the fact that I’ve been able to turn skills and hobbies into businesses that people trust and enjoy.
