Community Highlights: Meet Kilee DeVito of AmTrust Title Services

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kilee DeVito.

Hi Kilee, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my career in the real estate industry in Beverly Hills, California, where I began processing transactions for high scale brokerages, including the Oppenheim Group and The Agency, That experience gave me a strong foundation in real estate transactions and sparked my interest in Title and Escrow. From there, I continued growing my knowledge and experience, eventually moving to Tennessee, where I expanded my career working with real estate agents, lenders, and clients on residential and new construction transactions.
Over the years, I’ve developed a passion for helping people navigate the closing process and making each transaction as smooth and stress-free as possible. Today, I’m a seasoned Title and Escrow professional with experience in processing and closing transactions nationwide, building strong relationships, and providing a great client experience. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m excited to continue growing in the industry and taking on new opportunities

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. When I moved to Tennessee in 2022 with my husband, I had to completely start over and rebuild my business from the ground up. I had to establish new relationships with real estate agents, lenders, and other industry professionals while learning how to grow my network in a new market. Starting over was challenging, especially after having already built a career and strong connections in California, but it taught me the importance of resilience, consistency, and putting yourself out there. I continued to work hard, build relationships, and prove myself, and over time, I was able to establish my place in the Tennessee real estate industry. Looking back, the challenges have helped shape me into the professional I am today and made me appreciate how far I’ve come.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
AmTrust Title Services, a nationwide title company specializing in both residential and commercial real estate transactions. What sets AmTrust Title Services apart is that we handle everything in-house, from our title work and processing the physical files to issuing our own title policies. Having these processes under one roof allows us to maintain greater control over our transactions, provide efficient service, and offer competitive pricing. Because of our in-house operations, we are often able to beat other title companies’ prices! The combination of competitive pricing, in-house expertise, and nationwide service helps us we create a positive experience, build lasting relationships, and earn the trust of the people we work with.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My biggest piece of advice for anyone just starting out is to be patient with yourself, stay consistent, and never be afraid to put yourself out there. Building a career and establishing relationships takes time, and success doesn’t happen overnight.
One thing I wish I had known when I started is that you don’t have to have everything figured out right away. It’s okay to ask questions, learn from others, and make mistakes along the way. Don’t be afraid to reach out to agents, lenders, and other professionals, because building genuine relationships can open doors you never expected
