Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Established in 2020, Chào Nail + Bar is a high-end nail salon that proudly committed to quality services and experience for all clients. We offer an eco-friendly atmosphere that delights the senses and brings joy to the body, mind, and spirit. Our mission is to provide innovative, health-conscious, and personalized services through a team of highly trained and creative professionals. Our facility is engineered with the most advanced and powerful ventilation system as per International Mechanical Code requirements. It is designed to protect the breathing zone of both manicurists and their clients. We also offer private party area to accommodate large groups for corporate events, private events, e.g., bachelorette, wedding showers, birthdays, etc.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Covid-19 is definitely a big challenge. We started the project in mid-2019 and did not anticipate this pandemic and/or shut down. As Covid-19 continues to push people outside their comfort zones, businesses that are pivoting to innovation and creativity have been able to survive and even thrive. There’s always room for more preparation and 2020 has been the definitive proof of that. There’s no guarantee that things will be better next year, and over-prepare is always a good habit to have (or start). But most significantly, the quality of the work we deliver is more important than ever before. From the very beginning, we always strive to offer high-class quality and no less. In addition, the safety of our employees and guests are also on the high priority list. We have to spend and invest more to provide PPEs, masks, and other essential equipment to keep everyone in the salon safe. We have greatly learned from this situation so we can say that we are now ready to face another year with our heads and hopes up high.
