Daily Inspiration: Meet Jaime Pierce

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaime Pierce.

Hi Jaime, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Well, what brought me to Nashville is country music. I started singing country music at the age of 11 in my hometown LaPorte, Indiana. I moved to Dallas, TX at 19 to work and sing at a big dance hall called Cowboys where I met my husband, Tony Pierce who played lead guitar in the house band. In 2010 we moved to Nashville bc he got the job playing lead guitar for new-comer (at the time) Dustin Lynch. In 2013, we started our own country duo, Pierce Avenue and have been doing that ever since. In 2016 I decided I wanted to start a blog, ‘A Blonde Objective.’ Besides singing, I’ve always had a passion for clothes and putting together outfits for on and off stage. I’ve always managed to do it on a small budget. I love the hunt of finding something on trend for the lowest price possible. And I also love sharing my finds! I’ve always had girlfriends asking where I got something from, and I love sharing my find and that it was so affordable. In the beginning of 2020 before the pandemic officially hit, we found out we were pregnant with our first child- a little boy. Then live music officially stopped. So I dove into my blog as I prepared to have our first child. I love blogging as it’s something I can do from home! And now I love sharing things we use for our son or tips that have worked for me as a new mom. I’m just a firm believer in women helping women, I love it!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are always obstacles! Whether it’s the music business or blogging- there are always struggles. In these- always trying to find your own path and not get caught up trying to be like someone else are the most important in these two fields!
