Check Out Emily Osborn’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Emily Osborn.

Hi Emily, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I went to Indiana University to study Tourism, Hospitality, Event Management. My last semester of my senior year, I took an internship in Nashville assisting in planning events. That internship quickly turned into a full-time job after graduating college!

I then was promoted at the same company to Event Director and managed a team of Event Specialists. After working at the same company for three years, I decided it was time to switch gears. I had always dreamed of owning or managing a venue, and Ozari Events needed an event manager for their space– it was a perfect match!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The transition from college to where I am at today has honestly been an overall smooth transition. There were bumps along the road, but those bumps made me realize what I want and value in a career. I am beyond happy managing Ozari Events because the work atmosphere is a happy and positive environment!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I manage Ozari Events, a venue located in the L + L Market. I specialize in providing clients and guests with an exceptional experience when touring and booking the space.

I also plan and specialize in event production with Studio B Consulting, an event planning company recently started in Nashville. We are known for creating custom experiences in unexpected places and making all of our client’s dreams come true!

Through the years, there have been many accomplishments and events to be proud of, but I am most proud of joining forces with Studio B Consulting in bringing all types of events to life!

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I hope to see the event industry shifting in a big way in the next few years. With the break we had during the pandemic, people are eager to experience new and exciting things. This could be a really good transition for this industry, allowing us to create these new experiences for people!
