Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadia Slominski.

Hi Nadia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started Healthy Glow Spray Tans a few years after going through melanoma surgery and treatment with a friend. It was something that had opened my eyes to the dangers of sun tanning and skin cancer, something that is often very wrongly perceived as “harmless.”

I am very passionate about my business and feel very proud to offer a service that not only helps fight melanoma but also offers a generally healthier way to tanning. At Healthy Glow, all tan spray solutions are made from naturally derived and organic ingredients and are cruelty-free and vegan. These solutions also contain many skincare benefits that help fight the signs of aging.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
There have been many struggles along the way and many times that I had wanted to give up but knew that I should keep ongoing. I had started the business in NC, and shortly after, my life’s path brought me to Nashville, TN, where I decided to start over. Unfortunately, the timing was during the middle of the Covid pandemic, which has probably been the most difficult hurdle to face.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Healthy Glow?
At Healthy Glow, I provide custom airbrush spray tanning with a purpose and mission to help fight against melanoma. As a small business, every single client means the world to me, and making my clients happy is my number one priority. I specialize in natural-looking spray tans and often create custom-blend solutions for each client to ensure the perfect outcome. The biggest compliment I have ever gotten was from a client who told me that I “changed her life”. Truly nothing makes me happier than hearing how beautiful and confident my work has helped someone feel about themselves. I have many clients who are brides and being chosen to be a part of someone’s special day is an absolute honor that I value very much.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
Two of my biggest supporters and cheerleaders have been my best friend, Kristen, and my boyfriend, Colin. Kristen and I have been friends for about four years, and she herself owns a small business and knows the struggles and the ups and downs better than anyone. They have both kept me motivated, supported me with ideas and inspiration during slow times, and have helped me grow.
