Meet Angela Giles of Giles Enterprises Plus

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Giles.

Hi Angela, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I got started in my business when I left corporate. I was working in IT for a telecommunications company and was about ready to have my 2nd child. I worked a lot of hours and made good money but it wasn’t worth it anymore. I quit came home started a daycare and my husband was making $32,000 a year at that time. We lived in Southern California. We were 3K in the hole every month so I started doing network marketing as well. One morning (we had $57 left in our checking account), I went and spent it on fliers for the mlm business & went with my friend to the “rich” part of town and put fliers out – thinking I was going to get business. (we had three kids under five now) and I cam home at 6:30 am went back to bed – woke up out of a daze at 7 am and smelt smoke. My garage was on fire. I remember my husband running out the front door opening the garage in the meantime, I had gone in the backyard with the three little boys. I remember yelling at my husband like a banchee saying don’t open the garage door; it will cause oxygen to come in and burn it worse. I am sure that the neighbors thought there was domestic abuse going on…haha – so I remember being in the backyard and the firemen put a ladder over the fence so I could crawl over with the kids to the neighbor’s back yard.

I had on holey underwear and a teeshirt. I remember thinking why didn’t I spend that last $57 on new underwear instead of fliers….all the neighbors saw me & the firemen – ugh.

So everything changed after that. I got serious. I got creative and resourceful. I moved all 3 of my little kids in one room. I hired a nanny for room and board and a small fee. She helped me watch the daycare kids and my kids. I moved my desk and old computer into my laundry room. I spent four months during the summer in there learning how to generate free and inexpensive leads online. My first break was I learned how to generate leads on eBay for 99 cents. I spent over $20K on credit cards on scams and education to learn. But I did.

I wrote an ebook and sold it for $27 on how to generate free & inexpensive leads online. Fast forward several years (19 to be exact) and I now help Entrepreneurs and Businesses (annual gross sales $1 million to $10 million) generate leads online.

I also started a passion project (Everydaywoman.me) during March 2020 (Covid) with my good friend Galit Ventura Rozen – to help women pivot their careers & businesses quickly – we great a business out of it – where we serve doing workshops (give away the majority to nonprofits like the American Nurses foundation etc.) – we also have a FB group of 13,000 women, a large email list, etc. – we have done an Anthology with 51 women in it and we got 6 #1 best selling author categories in 48 hours. We got our first award for this Everyday Woman movement. The Award is Called the Heros of Change –

My ultimate goal is to help Women & Some Men Speed Their Way To Success While Living a Fulfilling Life.

Oh and I also am a Forbes Coach for their Forbes Coaches Council and A Rolling Stones Coach for their Culture Council.

My gift is marketing and sales – I have helped over 2000 businesses do over $30 Million in sales over the years – maybe even more now.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It is all about keeping a great mindset as you go along the way…

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I think what sets me apart is that I am the QUEEN of organic lead generation with small solopreneurs we usually get them to $20K months and with businesses, I can add millions to their bottom line in even 12 months with Lead Gen & Sales Strategies.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I love the book – The One Thing.
