Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsey Soklin.
Hi Lindsey, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Lindsey and I am the Owner of Luxe & Whimsy. I am a South FL native that lives in Nashville now. I have an extensive background in corporate and social event planning. During my time as an Event Planner, I saw there was an opportunity to elevate the corporate and social event gifting experience. I started Luxe & Whimsy in 2019 and we’ve been creating modern and new gift concepts ever since!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When Luxe & Whimsy first started in 2019, we picked up some good momentum, just being based in Nashville. There were a lot of conferences and weddings and it is a great location for destination events. Then COVID showed up and weddings and events were essentially non-existent. We knew we had to pivot in order to keep our momentum going so we then started creating gifts for virtual events. We sent care packages and work-from-home gifts and kits for virtual conferences as well. Pretty early on during COVID, we partnered up with Josiah Carr from Ninth & Everett and jumped right into the virtual party space, creating virtual birthday party kits, virtual baby shower gifts, etc.

We have a warehouse production space in the Nashville area where we assemble all of our gifts to get them ready to ship out to recipients!
