Daily Inspiration: Meet Andrea Shealer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Shealer.

Hi Andrea, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I’ve always been interested in Interior Design and Organization even as a little girl. Throughout my life, it has stuck with me. Several years ago, my husband encouraged me that I should start my own business offering Interior Design and Organization services. The thought of it sounded like a dream job, and I loved the idea. However, I lacked confidence in my skills and always seemed to talk myself out of it.

A couple of years back, I had the opportunity to visit Waco, Tx! While I was there I went to the Silos where Chip and Joanna Gaines have Magnolia. While I was there I was able to hear a little more in detail about their story. I’ve always admired them, but after hearing more of their story I left feeling so inspired and motivated.

As I returned back to Tennessee, I started processing, thinking, and praying about starting my company. I said that if I could think of a company name that wasn’t already taken that I would process everything. Not even a few days later a name came to my mind. I researched and checked and it wasn’t already taken! So I just knew that it was for me to start my own Professional Organization and Interior Design business.

I am so thankful for the family and friends who have believed and supported me in starting my own business. It is a blessing to be able to not only have my own business but to get to have my dream job!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Although I enjoy and love what I do, it definitely has not been a smooth road. After deciding to take the step to start my business back in September 2019, shortly after COVID-19 hit. So the beginning of 2020 I had a few clients, but then as schools closed and we found ourselves in the house for a few months, which lead to things being put on hold for a few.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My company offers Professional Organization and/or Interior Design Services for clients. I organized anything from home pantries, cabinets, closets, to office spaces. I help clients to overcome and find functionality in their spaces that are going to not only benefit them but will save them time and money as well!

I am proud to say that I organize and design not only with excellence but with striving to create a space that benefits and works well with my client’s everyday lifestyle. I believe that adding the design factor in any and all of my organization projects helps me to set myself apart as an Organizer.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
