Today we’d like to introduce you to Shanna Hall.

Hi Shanna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
Hey guys it’s me, Shanna. Nashville native-born and raised. My sunless journey started After high school… I received my first spray tan… At the time it was with a small airbrush gun and seemed like it took an hour to get a whole body airbrush tan. I knew from that visit that this would be the only way I tanned. Knowing the dangers of skin cancer I wanted to tan the healthiest way possible, without the dangers of aging skin and skin cancer. Naturally, I’m fair skin, burn easily, freckle like crazy I was finally able to achieve the color I’d always wanted.

My vision was mobile tanning. I thought to myself how cool would it be if I could bring this service to others to wherever is convenient for them. I spoke to those closest to me… many laughed but I dreamed anyways. I did my research and found the best brand on the market. Dived into training and as much info about the sunless industry I could find. My career was as a New Home Sales Manager at the time I was certified in Spray Tanning. So after the Real estate recession, I just needed something to bring my passion back. I was a single mom at the time and wanted a way to live out my dream and be present with my kiddos. So after leaving my real estate career I decided spray tanning was my calling.

I started a mobile spray tanning business and sprayed for friends, family, and just word of mouth for a while. I then took on a position with a new gym in town spray tanning out of there for a couple of years. While building the brand I realized I was the brand. So I parted ways with the gym and opened my own private sunless boutique within a local salon. I wanted to offer a more intimate space for my clientele. Since being in my boutique I’ve launched my own sunless retail line and added some cute tees and shirts with the brand. My passion is making others feel their absolute best at one of their most vulnerable times. I love that no matter what size, gender, race, ethnicity, age, etc… Everyone feels better with color.

My goal is to make everyone feel their absolute best self when they’re with me. As someone who struggles with mental health and body issues spray tanning has saved me in many lows. It sounds funny but it’s true. That one 15min appointment can change your whole day. It’s so much more than a spray tan for many. I love going to work and building my brand. My clients are the absolute best and have supported me in every direction I’ve gone throughout the years. My goal is to continue to grow and evolve. I’ve been able to travel the world and tan some amazing clients.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Smooth not really definite bumps in the road. The struggles mainly have been working with others whose visions did not align. I feel though navigating through these bumps has made me a more diverse business owner. It’s allowed me to learn and grow as a person. My advice to any I mentor is really getting to know who you’re going into business with before just going all in. Always fall forward. Bumps

I specialize in Bridal Tans, On Set Celebrity Tans, Dance, and Cheer.

What sets me apart from others is there is only one me. I do not try and be anything other than myself. My relationships and clients are organic and genuine. Everyone is welcome in my Salon. My goal with life and business is to make everyone feel Beautiful Strong and Enough!

I’m most proud of my brand because it’s grown organically just through word of mouth. Every Referral lets me know that I’m making a difference.

What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future are adding to the team. I want to train and bring in a few employees that have passion for others and the sunless experience. My goal is to open a larger location so that more clients can experience a flawless sunless glow.
