Today we’d like to introduce you to AYDAMN. They and their team share their story with us below:

AYDAMN is a DJ & solo artist based out of Nashville. Currently, residing in Miami, FL. Voted as Nashville’s #1 DJ five years in a row, AYDAMN originally hails from St. Louis where he launched on the music scene in the early 2000s as the frontman of his punk rock band, Loser’s Luck, gaining a well-known following allowing the band to tour the country and play Warped Tour. After moving to Nashville in 2011 to explore a solo career, AYDAMN made his way into the DJ scene after becoming more interested in hip-hop and EDM music.

AYDAMN has become one of the most sought-after DJs in the Southeast. AYDAMN has performed at most top bars and clubs in Nashville including Bridgestone Arena. AYDAMN is currently on Dierks Bentley’s “Beers On Me Tour,” serving as the resident DJ opener for more than 21 city stops, playing all over the country and at iconic venues like Jones Beach, NY. Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Life is like a rollercoaster. Keep your head up and enjoy the ride. It takes a lot of hard work to get to where you want to be. I appreciate every struggle that I have been presented with. If it was easy and success is just given to you, I firmly believe you wouldn’t appreciate the end result. There’s something about standing on the top of a mountain after you attempted time and time again to reach the top. If you believe in something, don’t stop. Keep going. Trust your heart.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a professional touring DJ. I’m proud of my ability to play mixed genres in a way that connects to a wide range audiences.
