Inspiring Conversations with Victoria Hoffman of The Dreammakers Agency

Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Hoffman.

Hi Victoria, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I came from the media business where I was always catering to C-level clients and corporate heads. Often, they would ask for a favor when they were in town which included unique experiences. As a social person around town, I was always fortunate to have special access or know a decision-maker that could help me create something special for the client. It wasn’t long before a lot of clients including management realized I had a talent for taking the ordinary and making the extraordinary. My big break came years later when I approached Mastercard to create a series of Priceless Experiences which propelled me into new opportunities.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Having your own business is always a risk, but it can be rewarding especially if you love what you do which I do. The first few years were hard especially when I had to pitch new clients. Clients that knew me from my media days were a completely different story. COVID has certainly been a struggle

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a luxury travel and event agency creating one-of-a-kind hospitality programs, WOW experiences, and producing events. What sets us apart is our level of creativity and special access including – going on safari with Richard Branson, digging for Cleopatra, having dinner in front of the David, and privatizing the Eiffel Tower for a marriage proposal

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Patience and perseverance are key. Maintain relationships even if you currently don’t work with them as you never know.
