Meet Danielle Young

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Young. Them and their team share their story with us below:

The creative fuel for Cali Roots Designs is Danielle Young. No, her name is NOT Cali, she’s a born and raised San Diegan who in 2019 moved to Franklin TN. An artist, designer, musician, wife (8 years strong), mama of 2 kiddos, world traveler, nature lover, and visual creator, Cali Roots is the fusion of Danielle’s many passions. Since entering the floral design world back in 2012, she has developed an energetic style all her own that she brings to each design piece. From the ground-up, each design from Cali Roots is unique and every detail is specifically planned to bring the design to a vibrant crescendo!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s crazy, but it has been the smoothest road! Do what you LOVE and the clients will follow!! The biggest obstacle is saying that we are already booked to clients! We only take on one wedding per day!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Romantic florals with a unique twist is my motto. Take a Pinterest pic and DON’T recreate, make it even MORE SPECIAL! Making couples step out of a box and try a new twist on a floral idea is my favorite thing to pitch. My clients always leave their events with MANY guests raving and taking the florals home!

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
The luck is that all the amazing people in Nashville and Franklin who I have met who have helped spread the word of my floral business. My first “real year” in 2022 – (2021 was a wash due to covid) in 2022 we did 85 weddings!!!! This year we are at 31 and getting new events everyday!

Pricing:

  • $2,000 minimum for ALL events (only ONE wedding/event per day)
