Hidden Gems: Meet Jennifer Armstrong of Jennifer Armstrong Real Estate Group at Parks Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Armstrong.

Hi Jennifer, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I got into real estate in 2007, when my children were young. I thought it would be a wonderful way to change people’s lives while changing our family’s life for the better and giving me a flexible schedule to raise my young family. Soon after starting my career my marriage ended and in 2008 the Global Financial Crisis took place. I now no longer had the flexibility to sustain periods without a paycheck. I never gave up on myself or my desire for my children to have a better future. My desire to help people find the homes of their dreams and invest in their family’s future was still there and strong. But I did have to pause it for a little while all while managing to keep my license active and pick up part-time jobs to stay afloat. Real Estate is not the glamour and glitz that reality shows portray. I have been in the business now for 15 years. Many of those years have been hard. You can invest a lot of time and effort in assisting your clients and sometimes the sale just does not come to fruition. I have met a network of people along the way that have helped mold me into the agent that I have become. Seven years ago, my life was changed when my soul mate enter my life. Not only was my personal life forever changed but my career also took a path I had not been down before. I have dedicated myself to being the best advocate I can be for my clients. I have been known to find a pet a new home when the seller leaves it behind. I can be found in a crawlspace when an inspection comes back unfavorable. I have helped clients declutter their homes and cried for them when closing day comes. This crazy real estate journey has helped me to raise my family and given me a career that I love. The last three years have been the most rewarding I have had in the real estate industry in honor of it I try to celebrate my clients. This past summer, I held a day at SoundWaves for my clients to thank them. I have enjoyed having the best clients. Some are now repeated buyers and sellers. While others have given me new friendships that I cherish. This adventure is not for everyone but as for me, I get up happy every day knowing I do make a difference and daydream, about what new prospects and adventures await me.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I have faced many obstacles and challenges in my years as a realtor. It is because of these difficult times that I have become stronger and better in my career.

As you know, we’re big fans of Jennifer Armstrong Real Estate. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I help guide clients in making one of the biggest and most important purchases in their lives. I specialize in sellers, first-time buyers, and relocation. My clients trust me with helping make decisions knowing that their best interest is my top priority. I will work my hardest to help take the worry and stress from the selling and buying process. I offer staging, decluttering, and professional photography to all my sellers. I sit down in person with all my buyers and sellers for a consultation to explain the entire process from our meeting to the closing table. I have found that educating the client in the process upfront eliminates surprises, and it helps ease their mind. Communication is the key to a smooth transaction.

What matters most to you? Why?
I have always enjoyed making people happy. Real Estate has given me the ability to change people’s lives for the better. There is no better feeling than when you match someone to their dream home or the joy in your seller’s face when you give them the news that there are multiple cash offers. The journey in which you embark with your clients can bring both joy and sometimes sorrow. For me, it is such a rewarding experience to advocate for them and their families. Being a realtor has led me to many new friendships. One’s that I see lasting a lifetime.
