Hi Tracie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
After many years in the professional management field, the company I was working for closed and I had an opportunity to start on a completely new path. I enrolled in school for massage therapy and quickly became enamored with the wellness field. I completed school then a series of other courses and certifications: integrative nutrition, sports nutrition, wellness coaching, infant massage, kids yoga. Natural skincare was an organic progression that fit perfectly with other projects of ours. It soon became my favorite!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Skincare is a field that requires an unwavering commitment to sanitation and cleanliness. COVID has had a negative impact on us doing business. Coupled with our standards being high for freshness of our products, our inventory often is pulled to keep the brand’s integrity.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about freshpa?
freshpa is a natural face, body and home products company. We offer things like sugar scrubs, bath bombs, soap, face masks, cleansers, toners, aromatherapy sprays, candles and much more! We use simple, clean, natural ingredients. We don’t believe the things we put on (and IN!) our bodies need to be harmful to that body.
How do you define success?
Showing my daughters, especially my youngest (11 years old), that hard work is it’s own reward is the highest measure of success. This brand is very family oriented, sometimes having all hands on deck.
Carrying ourselves and this brand with integrity and character, feeling proud of ourselves and each other is our greatest achievement.
