Daily Inspiration: Meet Jason Wain

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Wain.

Hi Jason, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I moved here from Oregon to learn about songwriting and music, I shot a music video for myself and people started asking me to shoot their weddings. I was working at Starbucks at the time and barely making enough money to even survive. So once I heard how much it paid, I started jumping into video work.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road so far has had its ups and downs but more ups I would say. I think the hardest challenge has been learning who to work with and when to say no to certain clients and co-workers.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I make videos! Camera operating, lighting and story writing are what do.

We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
That I like to keep work simple and fun. I like to have a lot of laughs and good times while making videos.

Pricing:
