Check Out Brittany Hope Hambrick’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Hope Hambrick.

Hi Brittany, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In 2012, I moved from Roanoke, VA to Nashville, TN to attend Belmont University. I have worked in the world of fashion and music business for over a decade. Growing my talent and paving the way in the corporate and small business industries. I have worked both behind and in front of the camera since 2012 with various local brands and artists. Along with working throughout the U.S. with multiple brands on global releases, festivals, and campaigns. My focus in my career has always been to shine light on others and tell a story in a unique way. My circle is filled with artists and creatives who don’t have the ability to always express themselves the way they want to with bigger companies. This led to partnering with my co-founder, our Gypsy and the Dog stylist, Jeremy Taylor. In 2020, we launched Gypsy and the Dog Creative, aimed at working with developing brands and artists local to Nashville to expand and develop content across their social media platforms. We both have a passion for people, brands, animals, and causes in every corner. We wanted to develop a business that not only showcased local talent but would create an interconnected network for clients to work together. We provide styling, content curation, in-studio photoshoots, and live content shooting. Not only do we network within our client pool, but we bring in outside photographers, hair stylists, and makeup artists local to Nashville to help build their businesses. In addition, we showcase a new photographer and model call for specific events like our past “Gypsy and the PRIDE” shoot showcasing, what pride means to me? with each model. Our community is our inspiration, and we want to help them shine in all the right areas. As of 2021, I work as the Brand Management and Business Development Coordinator with the award-winning PR and Branding agency Dead Horse Branding. In this role, I have been able to cross-pollinate Gypsy and the Dog clients into PR and Brand Development.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
So far, we have been very lucky to be surrounded by an eager and fun group of individuals who love what we do and utilize us whenever possible! I can only hope we continue to partner and grow with our community of local talent.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a Brand Management and Business Development Coordinator with Dead Horse Branding. Dead Horse is an award-winning PR and Marketing firm here in Nashville, Tennessee. At Dead Horse Branding, we create, design, and refine the many elements of brands, bringing together each moving piece to ensure the brand will strike the right chord every time. Branding is an identity developed via our DH7 formula; strategic planning, logo/image design, photography / visual assets, website, marketing / social media, publicity, and licensing. We build an image and promote the brand all under one roof. Our branding abilities help us to work across a multi-range of industries, including fashion, music, entertainment, culinary, interior design, business, franchises, construction, and many more. Baha Men, LOVING MARY (Steven Tyler’s solo Band), Mushroom Records, Universal Music Group, Sony Music, Studio City, TEDx, Namm, Songwriting University, Marc Jordan, Tony Brown, Duck Dynasty, Daddy’s Dogs, Gigi’s Cupcakes, Music Expo, The Today Show, Lionsgate, and Hallmark are some of the brands we have had the pleasure of working with. We work with clients internationally, with headquarters in both Nashville, USA, and Australia. I had previously worked with our co-founders Mel Core-Caballo and Rick Caballo, who owned rock fashion label CORELLO in 2012, when I first moved to Nashville and was interning at the ultra-high-end boutique The Label owned by Gary Allen. It has been such a perfect match to come full circle and be able to work together again in different capacities. Mel and Rick are both inspirations in the music business world and I am ecstatic to be working and growing with them again.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
We love to hear from new clients or referrals. You can contact us via Instagram or our website, www.gypsyandthedog.com. Share, like, and follow our journey on Instagram and be sure to follow our artists and brands – again, that’s really why we are here!
