Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael DiLiello & Payton Cleveland.
Hi Michael & Payton, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We are two South Florida boys who were tired of doing the same thing day in and day out. So, while thinking of a way to change things up we started thinking about what we actually enjoyed spending time doing. We loved being around friends and family and spending the time we had with them to the fullest. We loved taking risks and spending time making memories. We wanted to be free of musky libraries and dark dorm rooms. We wanted to spend time outside of the routine life that most people get caught up living. We wanted to Live On Top. Fifth Floor Lifestyle is about more than comfortable clothing, it’s also about having the mindset of living your best life and spending all your time on top.
With these new beliefs, it was easy for us to drop everything we had going and focus on the future. We wanted to share this new mindset about life with everyone and there is no better way than in comfortable clothing that represents everything great about living on top. Spending time enjoying the beautiful places around us and making memories with the people we enjoy. This is what living the Fifth Floor Lifestyle is all about.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
We try to provide comfortable and affordable clothing for the younger community, and that community is involved in very social settings. I feel like we speak for the majority of small businesses when we say COVID-19 had an effect on us. Our business is mainly promoted by word of mouth and people seeing others in our clothing; therefore quarantine wasn’t a huge help.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a lifestyle clothing brand who is catered to the people who want to live their life on top. Our slogan is “Live On Top”, these words can mean a lot of different things for everyone. That’s what we love so much about this brand and lifestyle, it fits everyone! Whatever you love doing we want to see you doing that in our apparel. Payton and I are really proud of the limitless possibilities this company can have.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
We have a special tab on our website called “Living the Lifestyle”, this is where we showcase our customers wearing Fifth Floor apparel doing what they love. This has been the vision since we created Fifth Floor Lifestyle, to have our consumers show us what they love to do in our clothing. This is how people can support us, purchasing apparel from shirts and hats to koozies and stickers. Once they do that, send us photos of you living on top!
