Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Mueller.
Alexis, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Ever since I was little I loved the idea of playing dress-up, being creative, and everything that involves the fashion world!
Around late freshman year of college, I asked for a canon camera for Christmas and that is when I really started getting into taking pictures for fun and posting them onto my Instagram.
I remember the first company that reached out to me was a teeth whitening company to do collaboration and I was so amazed by the idea of it all and from there I continuously kept going with it working with some of my favorite fashion brands and have been loving it every day, it definitely is my passion!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There are definitely some days where you do not feel like getting up, getting ready, and going out to take pictures or film content for companies, but that is when I stop and remember to tell myself when I had dreamed of being able to work with some of the brands I do and how far I’ve gotten and how far I still want to go.
I also do like to listen to my body though and take days off from being on my phone so much
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I think some words that definitely come to mind when you look at my feed and what I hope others see are: Colorful, positive, fun, beachy, and inspiring! I really strive to always stay true to myself and what I personally love instead of trying to be something that I am not.
This can definitely be hard in the social media world for sure to stick to, but that is definitely something that I am most proud of myself for.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I think luck is truly just believing that you are lucky.
If you believe that you deserve the things coming your way and always put out good energy into the world, be kind and caring to others, be authentic, and be really good things will always come your way!
