Check Out Brock and Boston Mikesell’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brock and Boston Mikesell.

Hi Brock and Boston, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We started making YouTube videos back in June of 2016. We posted a bunch of random things such as cooking videos, challenges, and vlogs (video blogs). After doing YouTube for a few years we hit 100,000 subscribers in 2019 and have been growing and doing Social media for the past five years.

Across all of our platforms, we have over 1,000,000 million followers. We connect and post about our favorite brands (Walmart, Amazon, Nike, etc) We share our life on social media sharing the ups and downs of life.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s definitely been hard at times. Editing for most of the day up until midnight and filming for hours. It’s a lot more time-consuming than we thought when we first started doing it.

Luckily, we’ve been able to get some help along the way from our managers and editor, which has been awesome for us!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are identical twins that started YouTube in 2016 and have amassed over 1,000,000 million followers. We started doing social media at the age of 11. Our job is awesome!

We make content online for other people to watch. We work with brands and help create content for them to post about (brands we’ve worked with, Nike, Amazon, Walmart, etc.).

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
We have just reached out to many people just asking. Once you find a person they can connect you with so many others.
