Exploring Life & Business with Joshua Bolds of Boundless Task-Force

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joshua Bolds.

Hi Joshua, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I grew up watching and being a part of my father and mother running their own landscaping company, as well as just from a young age seeing things being built and the whole construction concept just captivated me. So fast forward to about two years ago, I finished high school where I was part of an awesome program that built houses called uncommon construction. While there, I learned even more than what knowledge I already had of construction and I thought to myself one day while on-site that I could start a business of my own like my parents. So, I did exactly that, and fast forward to now I have been running my company for two years, as well as going to school full time for construction, and working for a Great general contractor here in New Orleans.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I haven’t had to many obstacles standing in my way per-say due to me starting my business so young and having people around me that could guide and direct me. However, I have run into just a lack of knowledge on how to expand my company, as well as having the correct paperwork on the insurance side of the business so now I’m diving into learning about this side of construction.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Boundless Task-Force LLC?
My company is a landscaping and lawn maintenance company that does wooden fences, flower beds, tree trimming, painting, and so on. I think what sets me apart from most companies in my area is that not many are my age and have my drive to keep pushing for what can be the biggest landscaping company in the south. I am always most proud of seeing a client’s reaction to how great their project has turned out on competition of the job it always makes me feel good to know that I and the company made something a lot better than how it was before.

Sooner than later, I hope to come out with my own signature work boot with my company logo colors, and merchandise of the companies. As well as spreading knowledge to young people that are looking to go the route I have chosen.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory I’d say was getting surprised by my parents with a Disney trip when I was about 8years of age. I just thought it was a regular flight to visit family I had never been to Disney before. So, imagine my reaction when the pilot said enjoy your stay at the Disney resort. I remember how hard my parents worked to be able to pull that off for my little brother who was like 1 at the time.
