Hi Lindsey, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Ever since burning out in the corporate world, my focus has been on bringing accessible, affordable self-care to others.

This started with my online CBD gummy brand, Relax Babe which is on a mission to make every day + night easier for our customers by harnessing the power of full-spectrum CBD into pre-dosed, delicious, third-party tested gummies. Making CBD wellness easy, delightful and routine.

Through Relax Babe, I connected with Molly, the owner of the Oasis Face Bar franchise. Oasis Face Bar is a small, woman-owned franchise reinventing the spa experience by providing a casual environment for clients to drop in for clinically effective, naturally derived skin-care treatments without all the fluff.

This felt like a perfect addition to my growing arsenal of self-care businesses. After finding a lease, and working out the financial details, I opened my first Oasis Face Bar franchise location in Nashville (one of soon-to-be many).

What I’ve found is there are so many business opportunities but finding a passion to guide me on which businesses fit with what I want to offer the community has been extremely helpful. I knew building affordable, approachable, routine self-care businesses would not only be fun but also rewarding for me.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would say, it’s never a smooth road when building a business but you have to be resilient and always look for another perspective.

I had a signed lease with space being built in East Nashville and nine months in, on the day we were supposed to move in, we got the news that the space somehow hadn’t been zoned properly. We had to terminate the lease, find a new space, rework the layout, delay our hires and move the opening.

It was tough but we did it and we’re thriving. You can’t dwell on could of, should of, would of and instead think look where we are now – aren’t we lucky, strong, smart, amazing!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At Oasis Face Bar, we are reinventing the spa experience and shaking up the skincare scene by providing a casual environment for clients for clinically effective, naturally-derived skincare treatments. We take the fluff out of facials with our 30-minute targeted treatments.

We also offer high-end skincare treatments, like the HydraFacial, at more affordable prices and in less time than a traditional spa. We welcome everyone from skincare newbies to frequent facial goers and even busy professionals and parents who want to keep up with routine treatments but don’t have a lot of time.

In addition to facials, we offer brow and lash tint, brow wax and lamination, chin and lip waxing. We also can accommodate parties, if you’re looking for a fun activity to celebrate a birthday or bachelorette – we’ve got you covered. This is all done in our fun, beautiful, open concept space.
