Hi Kiara, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Honestly, the birth of my business was accidental. I always knew I’d be a business owner, but I had no idea what that avenue would look like for me.

Around 2015, I began reviewing and updating resumes and writing blogs as a ghostwriter for other businesses, all of which were services I provided free of charge. After reviewing the amount of clients I had and ‘testing the waters’, I decided to make it official and launch my business. It was a giant step of faith that I am extremely grateful for.

Over the years, my business has grown tremendously just based on word of mouth alone, and that in itself is reassurance that I made the right decision. I ensure that my process is personalized and that each finished product is customized to the needs of each client.

I take an insane amount of pride in making sure my client’s needs are heard and understood. I do not force my opinion but I am always honest with them. All of these things have brought my business continuous success.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For the most part, it has been a very pleasant journey. There are certainly moments of adversity, but in those moments, I handle things with grace, understanding, and professionalism.

I’ve learned to NEVER do business or have certain conversations from an emotional place. It is absolutely necessary to sometimes take a pause, regroup, and then respond. A sober response is everything, especially in business.

My biggest personal struggle has been the uphill battle of pricing. Many do not hold value in having a professional resume or professional writing services in general, so there is always a moment of education with some clients and the general public.

I am a firm believer that I cannot do everything and in knowing that, I hire those who specialize in the areas I am not the strongest in. It is this thought, that helps me educate my potential clients on the power of hiring my business to articulate what they cannot.

Key Inspires is a connection of all things that encourage the growth of an individual personally, spiritually, and professionally.

What started off as a simple, unintentional, hashtag has blossomed into a business that pushes your overall growth and development as a person. My consistent growth, challenges, burdens, and development within these areas are what birthed the vision of Key Inspires. My goal is to help ensure my clients are successful and confident in all walks of life.

My business is set apart from others because I focus on the overall wellness and confidence of my clients. We discuss their goals in life and how Key Inspires can best help those goals come to fruition. I am proud of the personalization I’ve placed into my business practices and process.

It is my desire to leave a meaningful mark and impression on this world, and I do believe, I am currently succeeding in that goal. For me, that is a success, using my influence to change and influence others to go after the desires of their heart.
