Today we’d like to introduce you to Elevate Coffee.

Hello Elevate Coffee, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We originally moved to Nashville for the music scene. Chloey is a musician and there seemed to be a great community for that here in TN. While Chloey still pursues music, we have found other ventures to fill our time.

Elevate Coffee started as a desperate desire for quality coffee in the Hermitage area after we moved here from Seattle, Washington. Chloey always knew she wanted to run her own double-drive-thru style shop after working in so many from our hometown.

We drove by this grass lot that Elevate Coffee now occupies, day after day, visualizing the business providing quality coffee and experience to our community. Struggling to find jobs that were fulfilling, we decided to move on to opening our own coffee shop.

Now, Elevate Coffee provides an irreplaceable coffee experience to its community every day. We didn’t originally anticipate being so appreciated and praised by the community but we also never anticipated having the kindest, most loyal customers and being in such a welcoming community.

Ultimately, the passion for coffee in both of us has only grown as we have started this business and it has lit a fire in us to see how far we can take, all that is, Elevate Coffee.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being in a new area with different laws, codes, restrictions, etc.

It was rather difficult to get the city of Nashville on board with the logistics of our style shop, having never seen them here before and therefore not being familiar with the end result and how it would operate. We had the vision and could see how it would work, having worked in them before, it was just a matter of getting the city of Nashville to see it too and compromising/maneuvering around and with their way of doing things.

Another obstacle has and always will be maintaining a reliable staff that consistently delivers on our mission statement. At first opening, the world was in a place where people were staying home and not working with the public. Finding staff was extremely difficult coming out of a pandemic and into what society called “the great resignation”.

While issues of maintaining quality and consistency among staff is an ongoing challenge any business could expect, those issues were only magnified during the last two years. However, today we have a strong staff that we believe in and can rely on.

During the pandemic, there was a lot of inconsistency in ordering and receiving products. Telling our customers in the first year of being open that we were constantly out of different items was definitely a challenge as we didn’t want this to drive people away.

On the backside of this issue, ordering was difficult because we never knew how much to stock of items, being it likely that it would be out the next week or unable to get to us. This is not really an issue we experience too much anymore.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Elevate Coffee?
Elevate Coffee is a coffee shop in Hermitage TN. We are a double-window drive-thru, meaning we have a drive-thru window on each side of our building always operating and taking cars in separate lines from one another.

We serve quality coffee, specialty lattes, energy sodas (a new thing we have brought to the area), specialty teas, and practical on-the-go breakfast items. We are known for uplifting people’s spirits and days. We are bright, colorful, and energized. ”At Elevate Coffee we aim to contribute to high spirits by making others feel valued through consistency, a personalized experience, and coffee.”

We are most proud of the experience we leave people with every day and the feedback we have gotten in reassuring this. We have nearly 500 5-star reviews on google, with so many being detailed positive feedback about our customer’s gratitude and appreciation for the services we offer our local community. It feels so good to be loved and embraced by our community.

We have built relationships with our customers and given them a more personable alternative to corporate coffee and that feels awesome. We are also very proud to be the first coffee shop of our style in the city of Nashville.

Anyone reading should know, that getting coffee from us isn’t just an errand it really is a desirable and even craveable all-around experience and that’s why people come back to see us every day.

What are your plans for the future?
We are so excited to be working on a mobile version of our shop.

We will be taking Elevate Mobile to local sporting events, weddings, tradeshows, and markets. We couldn’t be more stoked to share our brand with parts of our community we can’t reach currently.

We are hoping to expand this year and open two new permanent shops as well. We are in the early stages of this and we are excited to be able to disclose more definitive details, soon.
