Today we’d like to introduce you to Travis Eads.
Travis, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have always been into cars growing up in flint Michigan (vehicle city is its nickname) my dad always had a thing for cars rather it be helping his friends in the pits at the race track or helping them build street cars. Every weekend he would clean his cars and get them looking nice, he always talked about opening a business or a car shop.
After he passed, I decided to get more into them. I knew I always wanted my own company but didn’t know what to do. I started out practicing on my vehicles, which lead to people having me do their vehicles.
After working in the auto industry (General Motors & Nissan) I found that I could have more time for myself and my family, less stress & enjoy life more if I started my own business. With how unpredictable the auto industry is I decided to take a chance and go all-in on myself
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life is a journey, we are always going to run into obstacles. Trying to balance working 40+ hours a week 3rd shift, being a father & husband, starting a business, & become the best me I can be is an everyday challenge.
But if you really want to become/be something you have to love everything about the journey.
