Conversations with Antoine Baynes

Today we’d like to introduce you to Antoine Baynes.

Hi Antoine, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I was born and raised in Detroit, MI, the home of Motor City and Motown! Growing up there I quickly began to teach myself how to dance, and how to work in a room full of people.

Entertainment became a part of my chemical makeup as a human being and putting smiles on faces is something I truly fell in love with. I work extremely hard!

Although talent helps; hard work outweighs talent, so consistency followed by discipline is key.

I once fell on hard times going through homelessness and mild depression made me question a lot of things. Through it all, I just kept going! There were plenty of times when I felt like giving up; however, giving up is the quickest way to a guaranteed defeat!

I refused to be defeated, I had to keep going and I did. God gives us dreams and the tools we need to make them come true. We must dig deep at times to finish strong and settle for nothing less. I’m also a proud dad of four wonderful kids. Known mostly as a Michael Jackson tribute artist: performed in such places as The Linq, The Monte Carlo, The Flamingo, and Mandalay Bay hotel, casino, and resorts.

I’m a natural-born entertainer! Although I’m known for my moves on stage; I’m also a skilled actor, host, writer, and comedian. Currently, I’m the proud owner of Remember the Time-themed wedding services and the author of the published book “Laugh to Keep from Crying”.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not everyone believes in your vision. When watching the ones you love the most give up on you it can become mentally difficult. I literally fight to stay focused. It can be a tough ride in this life with little or no support.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Michael Jackson tribute artist, Published book author, event planner, comedian, and owner of “Remember the Time Themed Wedding services. I am most proud of my book!

Simply because it was an accomplishment that took years to complete because of the hard times that happened in between. Everyone is created to do great things! We only have to tap into it! I’m a happy person who loves my kids and family!

I’m simply me.

Integrity, intelligence, loving, honesty, and discipline.
