Hi Kristen, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I began my career as a labor and delivery nurse, and I truly loved it! Being part of one of the most emotional, powerful moments in someone’s life was such an honor. I learned how to connect deeply with people, stay calm under pressure, and provide care with both compassion and skill!
My journey into aesthetics started after I had my daughter. Like many new moms, I struggled to find time for myself. Botox and beauty appointments were the first things to go, even though I knew how much they helped me feel like me again. That experience inspired me to become a certified nurse injector and make aesthetic treatments more accessible. So I started as a mobile injector, meeting people where they were!
Today, I’ve built Beauty By Kris into something I’m so proud of! I offer a variety of treatments including neurotoxins such as Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, lip filler, biostimulators, chemical peels and more! I primarily work out of my cozy home studio in Franklin, TN and one day a week I inject at SknShack in Tollgate Village. I still offer concierge in-home services for those who prefer the convenience and comfort of treatments brought directly to them. My approach is focused on natural results, client education, and creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and confident!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but it’s been worth it! Building up a client base takes time, patience, and consistency. In the beginning, there were moments of self-doubt and slow seasons that made me question if it would all work out. But I stayed focused, kept showing up, and trusted that if I led with care, education, and authenticity, the right clients would come. Over time, things started to grow, and I’m really thankful for every person who’s trusted me along the way!

I specialize in facial balancing and I’m known for creating natural-looking results and taking the time to really listen to my clients. My goal is always to enhance your features while making the experience feel comfortable, personal, and empowering!
What sets my business apart is the personalized experience I offer. This isn’t a high-turnover med spa so I’m able to take my time with each client, listening to their goals, educating them on their options, and creating custom treatment plans that enhances their natural beauty. My style is subtle, natural, and confidence-boosting!

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The most essential characteristic to my success is genuine connection. My background as a nurse taught me how important it is to make people feel safe, heard, and cared for. I strive to bring that same energy into every aesthetic appointment. Clients aren’t just coming in for a treatment; they’re trusting me with their face, their confidence, and their story! That trust is built through real connection, and it’s the foundation of everything I do.
