Today we’d like to introduce you to Zach Brickner and Morgan Schofield, Co-Founders of the Corner of Nashville real estate team.
Hi Morgan and Zach, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Morgan and I first met in 2020, where we worked at the same office in West Nashville. Over the years, Morgan became a repeat top producer of the office and I became the managing broker in charge of the day-to-day operations. Looking back on it all, it makes a little too much sense that we would come to work together. In 2023, we decided to hire some full-time help between us, and this is where Liz Earle came into the picture! Corner of Nashville officially started in 2024 after Morgan and I realized we shared the same passion, beliefs, and goals for what we wanted to accomplish in real estate. Starting 2025, we are pushing forward into year two of the team and year 12 of real estate with the same relentless passion as years before.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Relatively speaking, it’s been a smooth road. Morgan and I approached the team with a mindset of building the strongest possible base and being collaborative. We didn’t want to reinvent the wheel but rather build the most efficient wheel. While we don’t always agree, we always approach our problems thinking about the greater good of the team. With that having been said, there are always speed bumps in the road to success. It’s just a matter of taking them head on.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Corner of Nashville?
At our core, we help buyers and sellers navigate the Nashville real estate market with authenticity, efficiency, and excellence. While we have different niche areas of the city, our team brings the same quality and passion to helping our clients get to the next phase of their life. Overall, I think our authenticity and our super secret email club set us apart from other teams in the Nashville core.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I don’t think of us as risk-takers, personally. We saw a path in front of us where we understood the assignment. Getting to where we wanted to be meant working hard and doing the right thing. Since we are only in year two of our team, I think there will be more opportunities to take bigger risks once we feel more comfortable.
