Inspiring Conversations with Halee Sprinkle of Czech Yourself Marketing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Halee Sprinkle.

Hi Halee, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I like to say I’m a marketing alchemist — I take ideas, community, and creativity, and turn them into growth.

I started my career in the corporate and agency world, spending more than a decade managing grass roots marketing, loyalty marketing, events, and marketing analytics for companies of every size. I gained a ton of experience, but eventually realized I wanted more creativity, more freedom, and honestly… more connection. So I took the leap and started Czech Yourself Marketing in 2017. Inspired by the Czech Village near where I grew up and the belief that real growth starts with self-reflection.

From day one, my business has been rooted in community. I didn’t just want to “do marketing.” I wanted to help small businesses and nonprofits feel empowered and understood. Not just one more person trying to sell them something. That opened the door to some incredible opportunities — mentoring entrepreneurs, teaching digital marketing to high school students and adults, developing hands-on workshops, and speaking at events and conferences across the Southeast. I’ve found myself at this fun intersection of education and community building, and I absolutely love it.

Over the years, I’ve expanded into new spaces — from creating UGC programs for Boat Club franchises, to developing content labs, to partnering with the University of Tennessee to teach marketing courses. My work now blends creative ideation, content strategy, education, and community engagement… with a little sparkle, of course.

Today, I help entrepreneurs and organizations show up more confidently, communicate their value clearly, and build communities around their brands. My path hasn’t exactly been a straight line, but one thing has never changed: I’m obsessed with people and the power of connection. Give a small business the right tools, a little encouragement, and a dose of joy… and they don’t just grow — they bloom in big, beautiful ways.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Smooth? Not exactly. My journey has had plenty of plot twists — from leaving the stability of corporate life to rebuilding my confidence as a solo entrepreneur, to juggling motherhood, clients, deadlines, and community work all at once. There were seasons where I felt stretched thin, seasons where I questioned everything, and seasons where I had to learn the hard way how to set boundaries and protect my energy.

But every challenge pushed me to grow, get more creative, and build a business that actually feels aligned with who I am. And honestly? The messy parts made the magic possible.

We’ve been impressed with Czech Yourself Marketing, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Czech Yourself Marketing is my little corner of creative chaos and strategy — where small businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs come to get clarity, confidence, and a whole lot of sparkle in their marketing. I help people show up more boldly, communicate their value, and build community around their brand, not just content.

What do I actually do? A mix of things that all ladder up to helping people grow: social media strategy and management, creative ideation, workshops, speaking, hands-on training, and my B.I.G. Marketing Labs — custom, immersive sessions designed to turn overwhelm into “ohhhh, I get this now.” I’m known for taking complex marketing concepts and making them simple, actionable, and even fun.

What sets me apart is that l genuinely get to know your business, your goals, your personality, and your audience — and create strategies that match.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the way my business blends joy and strategy. The unicorns, the bright colors, the playful tone… that’s all intentional. I want entrepreneurs to feel safe to explore big ideas, ask questions, try things, and grow without fear. My brand is designed to make marketing feel less intimidating and more like a creative adventure.

I want readers to know that Czech Yourself Marketing is more than “marketing services.” It’s mentorship, community, strategy, creativity, and empowerment wrapped into one. Whether you need someone to teach you, guide you, walk beside you, or create for you — I’m here to help you spark something real, build something meaningful, and grow in ways that feel aligned with who you are.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Marketing is changing faster than ever, and the next decade is going to be a wild (and exciting) ride. We’re already seeing a major shift toward authenticity, community-driven growth, and brands that feel human — not polished, perfect robots. AI will continue to streamline and automate tasks, but the businesses that win will be the ones that show personality, tell real stories, and build trust through genuine connection.

Creators are becoming even more influential, and micro-communities will shape how businesses grow. Education-based marketing is also going to explode. People don’t just want to be sold to; they want to feel part of something.

In the marine and lifestyle space especially, I see huge opportunities: more demand for experiential content, storytelling, membership models, and user-generated content that captures the emotion of being on the water. People crave experiences more than things, and that trend is only getting stronger.

As for me? As my capacity continues to max out (in the best way), I see myself scaling with a small, intentional team who can help expand the work I’m doing — especially for businesses in the marine world. I’m already deeply rooted in that space, and I see massive potential to help marinas, clubs, boating organizations, and lifestyle brands level up their marketing with stronger content, community engagement, and educational support.

My long-term vision is to grow Czech Yourself Marketing into a boutique creative agency that still feels personal, approachable, and joyful… but with more hands, more expertise, and more impact. The future of marketing is collaborative — and I fully plan to grow right along with it.
