Today we’d like to introduce you to Melody Hubbard-Robinson.
Hi Melody, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I am the owner of The Melody LaSha Brand, the creator of Fierce Fearless Free Movement, and Sister in Success Brunch. I stepped into the realm of women empowerment seven years ago as a result of my personal struggle to identify my “special gift,” that unique reason I was created. I had no clue what my purpose was. Through prayer and determination, I soon discovered that I had the gift of speech.
God revealed to me that my words would call women to their purpose. Identifying my purpose was not an easy journey. Because of my experience, I knew that I had a responsibility to help women navigate the path to purpose. Furthermore, helping them map out a strategic plan to operate in their purpose. I wanted to be what I wish I had when I was searching for a purpose.
Utilizing my gift of speech, I seized and created opportunities to pour into women all over the country. Through live and online events, social media, courses, and coaching programs, I helped a plethora of women discover their purpose and operate in their calling. My reach soon became international with speaking opportunities as far as Tokyo, Japan.
Along the way, I became a wife, mom, ministry leader, and maintained a corporate career in addition to being an entrepreneur. I wore a lot of crowns. (hats) Balance became a skill that I had to master. Overwhelm quickly became the villain in my life. I had to do a major mindset overhaul to overcome the stress of success. I realized that every single title I held was a result of my prayers being answered.
Realizing this, I shifted my mindset from focusing on the overwhelm of having a myriad of responsibilities to discovering strategies to balance my blessings. As I discovered how to properly balance and enjoy my life, I began to teach my community. Each one, teach one, is my philosophy.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Any time you are in alignment with your purpose, you are going to encounter adversity. I have had events that people didn’t show up to. I’ve experienced cancelations and a lack of sponsorship. Just like anyone else, I had products that did not sell as expected and lack of support.
All successful people failed first. You pick yourself up after each fall and fail forward. “Purpose” is scary and uncertain at times. The key is to be fearless. Being fearless doesn’t mean you are not afraid. It means that in spite of being afraid, you do it anyway.

The Melody LaSha Brand helps millennial women not only balance their crowns but also find enjoyment in the balancing act of life. Often women that have great responsibility are lost in how to successfully balance without becoming burnout. I created a simple systematic approach to manage the weight of each crown I wear and ultimately buy back my time. I share that method with my clients.
Through prayer and strategy, women can be and have it all. As an international speaker, I have had an opportunity to grace many stages helping women create a daily plan to balance being a wife, mom, career boss, and entrepreneur. After almost a decade of personal development speaking and coaching, my love for fashion has moved to the forefront of my focus. I recently launched my online boutique, Boutique 747. The time was exactly 7:47 when I entered the world; I was “born for good luck.” This is one of the many affirmations that my mom has recited my entire life. So, I made it the name of my boutique. It makes my heart smile to know that my brand has changed the lives of women near and far. To know that the work that God has done through me has helped so many people is truly rewarding. Regardless of how many obstacles I face, I cannot quit because so many women are depending on me to operate on my purpose. And for that reason, you can’t quit, because someone needs your gift.
