We began our journey in 2023 with a mobile coffee trailer, inspired by our love for exceptional coffee and a deep family connection. While the name “Montana Coffee Company” might seem unusual since we’re from Tennessee, it honors the original visionaries, Casey and Montana, who were linked to our families — Casey was the cousin of our wives, Megan and Courtney. Cory’s Naval background, coupled with Kaleob’s entrepreneurial drive and experience, produced a partnership rooted in values of discipline, honesty, integrity, and reliability, which have been essential in building a brand that resonates with high achievers: the workers, strivers, builders, and explorers pushing the limits of what’s possible in every area – faith, work, family, community, etc. Our mission is to empower those metaphorical ‘climbers’ to fuel their adventures with coffee that inspires, uplifts, and motivates those individuals to conquer life’s greatest adversities. We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to building Montana Coffee Company has certainly been challenging, filled with both setbacks and triumphs. Cory and I often sat together envisioning the future of our company, even during events that turned out to be total busts with hardly any sales. Despite those tough moments, we never lost faith that God would provide a way forward. We imagined a legacy where MCC would become something our children could be proud of — a brand that the community could look to as a pillar of strength, unity, and a testament to what’s possible when faith meets purpose. Each struggle we faced has only served to reinforce our commitment to excellence and our unwavering belief in our mission to inspire others as we climb toward new heights together. After all, how could we build a brand focused on unwavering drive to climb if we never faced any mountains of our own?
