Life & Work with Marissa Pitre

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marissa Pitre.

Hi Marissa, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
The journey of my business started with my inner journey. I’m excited to watch my business grow as consistency is the key. I started when I was in high school when I became a YouTuber and now have expanded to production and music. Dixie’s and Daisies birthed a couple of years later as this business supports my mission in life, saving the world & saving the bees.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The inner journey is never easy. This is why most people avoid it. It was a bumpy road but now getting smoother as I no longer self-inflict trauma. The biggest struggles is untangling yourself out of the stories and taking ownership of your pen and your script. Letting the business inside of me blossom.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?

I’m known for my good character. I’m known for advocating for others. I am proud of the person I had to choose not to be. I am proud of being an advocate for others. I am proud for building a platform that will set the stage for many. My story is one I’ll be writing in many books over the next year. I am currently working on one that will be published within the next year.

Also new exciting journey, I am currently looking to expand my skill set in being a professional DJ. I make music and slowly releasing my songs on iTunes, Spotify, etc! EDM Cowgirl is my stage name. Saddle up that magic!

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I am not kidding when I say I am working all day every day. There is so much planning involved in creating a business on top of living life. I’m a busy girl, and only 22. It’s cool to say though I officially have multiple perfume lines and working on my travel size options! There is a lot of moving parts to what I’m creating but it’s one I think a lot of people will enjoy watching.
