Rising Stars: Meet Terrance “Big ProdaJ” Joyner

Today we’d like to introduce you to Terrance “Big ProdaJ” Joyner. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Terrance “Big ProdaJ” Joyner is a Social Media Entertainer that was born December 10, 1986, in Memphis, TN. He was born and raised in South Memphis. He grew up in South Memphis in the Foote Homes. He was raised in a single-parent household by his mother. He played sports throughout the school to stay out of trouble. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 2005 and went on to Tennessee State University.

While attending Tennessee State University he was a part of a music group called Squad Pham. The Group received a lot of recognition throughout Memphis and the rest of the south, but the music wasn’t ProdaJ’s first love. He majored in Mass Communications and had his own Radio Show on TSU Campus (WTST – The Blaze). After graduating from TSU in 2009 he continued to do music, but he wanted something different. Social media such as Facebook, Vine, Instagram, Twitter and etc. started to produce future stars quickly.

It was then that ProdaJ realized that he wanted to become a Social Media Influencer. He started doing skits in August 2018 and since he started doing skits he has appeared in other social media comedy skits from various entertainers. He has done small roles for a few unreleased movies as well. In 2019 he made a Cameo in two music videos which were Lvshvun – “Meantime” & Hot Boy Turk – “Hot Girls.

One of his Comedy Skits titled “The Help” made it to Worldstar on 9/12/19 and again on 9/15/19. Terrance better known as Big ProdaJ continues to drop skits on all his Social Media. One of his favorite motto’s “Dreams and Goals don’t have an expiration date. You can follow him on all Social Media at @BigProdaJ

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I had a couple of run-ins with the law that I barely speak on.

I also faced kidney issues, which I was staring at Stage 4 Kidney Cancer. While trying to get my health back on track I was still producing content for my followers. I used Comedy/Acting as a way out and also to help heal my broken city.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
When I’m not doing Comedy, I work as an IT/Computer Tech. I’m also an assistant football coach at a local high school. I’m a Head basketball coach at an Elementary School.
