Affordable Family Fun In the Nashville Area

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Staci Allen.

Hi Staci, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Shane Belliston wanted to create an annual pass that would let families explore lots of entertainment venues in their community at an affordable price. Belliston partnered with friends Mitch Jones and Scott Hyatt to create Pogo Pass in 2012 and began its launch in Phoenix, AZ.

I was hired in 2013 as their first employee and had a vision to create a network of women who could be the sales force behind this family-friendly entertainment pass. As a mom of 5, I knew how difficult it could be to afford to explore with my kids. Creating memories was important and I felt like Pogo Pass was the answer that many moms were looking for!

It has been easy to stand behind such an excellent product with amazing value. It has been fun to watch families learn about the Pogo Pass and see their eyes as they say, “This sounds too good to be true!” Our sales team has grown from 1 to 60+ moms, and I love giving moms an opportunity to gain financial freedom for their families while making memories with their kids.

While Phoenix was the first Pogo city, we have grown to 9 areas across the United States, including Las Vegas, DFW, Austin/San Antonio, Houston, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Emerald Coast, and finally, Nashville. It has been fun to watch the company grow and continue its goal of helping families get out of the house and make memories together!

Our Nashville pass currently offers FREE ADMISSION on all of the following attractions:
Nashville Sounds (2 games)
Circus World (1 visit)
Nashville Children’s Theatre (1 visit)
Nashville Shores Lakeside Resort (1 visit)
Nashville Zoo (1 visit)
Soar Adventure Tower (1 visit)
The Crag (1 visit)
Strike & Spare Family Fun Center (1 visit/month)

We are continuing to add new attractions, and they are grandfathered onto existing member’s passes, increasing the value throughout their membership. The passes retail online for $99.98, but you can take advantage of 50% OFF with code: VOYAGE at https://www.pogopass.com?affiliate_code=voyage and start HAVING FUN TODAY!

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We have had to find the best avenues to market the pass, as it can be difficult to explain through a short commercial or a billboard.

Through trial and error, we have learned that the most effective way to market our pass is through affiliate marketing, which allows moms to share this great deal with other moms! This has proved to help us grow and expand into new cities and welcome thousands of members to each market.

We love our affiliate marketing program and are always looking for partners who want to share the Pogo Pass in their cities. Potential affiliates can contact us at [email protected] to learn more.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar with what you do, what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in social media and content creation, as well as managing our sales team. I am proud of the sales team I have created, full of incredible women.

I had a vision for this company when I began, and it is great to see it come full circle and sit together and collaborate with talented, creative women who all have the same goal. As moms, we can relate to the need for affordable entertainment and work together to help the company grow!

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
COVID-19 impacted our company in various ways due to the nature of our past being entertainment attractions.

All of our venues were shut down for a time, and even after reopening, members were hesitant to go out and explore again. We utilized that time to strengthen our company from within, and when we re-opened, we returned stronger than ever and had the highest sales we’ve ever seen in 2021.

Families love spending time together, and we quickly learned that nothing will stop them. Working together, we have learned and grown and have offered an even better value since COVID-19.
