Alexander D’Alessandro on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Alexander D’Alessandro shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Good morning Alexander, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day begin at 5:00 a.m. I start with cold laser treatment, followed by prayer and Bible reading. I take time to thank God for His goodness in all circumstances, then meditate. Afterward, I shower and prepare for the day ahead.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am the founder of Mobile Mechanic Muscle, a company that has grown from mobile repair into a brand that is redefining what automotive excellence looks like. What makes us unique is that we do not simply repair or enhance vehicles, we deliver an experience. Our work combines world-class craftsmanship with a white glove level of service designed for discerning clients who expect nothing less than the very best.

Nashville has become home for us and the heart of our expansion. Here we are building a flagship shop that will serve as a one-stop destination for mechanical repair, bodywork, detailing, and performance upgrades, all executed at a level of precision and care that sets a new standard for the industry.

At the same time, we are engineering and curating an exclusive fleet of handcrafted performance and luxury machines. This collection includes BMW’s celebrated M series, Mercedes-AMG performance masterpieces, the legendary Nissan GTR, the reborn Toyota Supra, a modern icon of design and power, and other superb luxury marques. These vehicles are already available through Turo, but we are in the process of developing our own in-house rental platform that will provide seamless direct to client access. Our goal is to elevate the exotic rental market into something far more refined, giving our clients not just access to supercars and hypercars, but a complete luxury experience.

What drives me is more than business. Mobile Mechanic Muscle is built on integrity, faith, and relentless dedication. The true measure of success is not only financial growth, but also the ability to build trust, inspire confidence, and create a legacy that will outlast any single venture. We are building more than cars. We are building a culture, an experience, and a brand that stands for excellence at the highest level.

Most importantly, my mission is to make a difference in the world, and the strength and vision behind that mission come from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is the true force behind everything we are building, and it is by His guidance that Mobile Mechanic Muscle will continue to grow, inspire, and leave a lasting impact.

At the end of the day, our purpose goes beyond automotive repair or even luxury rentals. It is about setting a higher standard, creating meaningful experiences, and building a legacy that reflects excellence, integrity, and faith. Mobile Mechanic Muscle is more than a company. It is a movement, and we invite those who value vision and greatness to be part of it.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a teenager and into my early twenties, I lived under the belief that I was unintelligent and destined to fall short of real success. That idea was reinforced by co-workers and even some family members who told me I lacked common sense and would never accomplish anything meaningful. For years, I allowed those voices to shape how I saw myself.

What changed was proof. Through discipline, achievement, and relentless effort, I came to see that I was not only capable but also gifted with intelligence, creativity, and vision. Along the way I became stronger in every way, developing greater intellect, physical strength, mental toughness, and the resilience that separated me from those who once doubted me. The irony is that many of them remain stagnant today, while I am building a company that is growing, thriving, and making a measurable impact in the world.

What I no longer believe is that anyone else has the power to define who I am or what I am capable of. My journey has taught me that doubt can either confine you or fuel you. I chose to let it fuel me, and it has become the driving force behind everything I am building with Mobile Mechanic Muscle, a brand rooted in excellence, integrity, and legacy.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
The three defining wounds that scarred me, broke me, and ultimately shaped me into who I am today are rooted in family, health, and relationships.

The first was realizing that much of my family cared little for me, with only a few exceptions. For a long time, that truth was devastating. I overcame it by realizing that my worth and my purpose do not come from family approval. I do not need acceptance from those who fail to value me. What I need is my Savior, Jesus Christ, and the people He places in my life who truly love me and bring real value. Along with the hard work ethic He instilled in me, that focus keeps me grounded and moving toward my purpose.

The second wound was losing my health not once, but twice. Each time I fell, I fought back and became stronger than before. The key was never surrendering my mindset. I learned that the body follows the mind, and when you refuse to give up, healing is possible. Those experiences taught me resilience, discipline, and the power of faith when facing what seems impossible.

The third came from friendships I once thought were real. In 2024, I cut ties with people who never truly loved me for who I was, but only valued me for what I could provide. The situation became deeply unhealthy, and their intentions toward me were manipulative and unjust. By the grace of God, I overcame it by focusing on what matters, serving others, living with honesty, and being bold enough to tell people the truth rather than sugarcoating it. I also committed myself to never repeating the same mistakes, choosing instead to live by integrity and faith.

All three of these wounds taught me that real healing and strength come only through God. Time may dull the pain, but God transforms it. When you become a child of God and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, He takes on the burden. The only way to truly overcome is to give those burdens to Him, and that is how I received healing. As Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” And in Matthew 11:28–30 He gives us this promise: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

When you accept Jesus into your heart, you become His child. Just as when you are born into a family and you will always remain a son or daughter to your parents, no matter the circumstances, the same is true with Christ. His love is unconditional. You may disagree with how others live, and people may choose paths you would not, but you can never be separated from the family of God once you are His. That is true love, unlike man, who can walk away. Jesus never will.

These experiences did not destroy me. They refined me. They equipped me to build, to serve, and to inspire others through the life I am creating, and I know that it is only by His grace that I continue to grow and move forward in my purpose.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
I am the same person in every setting, whether I am speaking with a customer, a friend, a family member, or a complete stranger. I choose to be myself one hundred percent of the time because life is too short to live inconsistently or to put on a façade. If someone feels the need to become a different person in every environment, that is not authenticity, it is a lack of integrity. I believe in being genuine at all times, because authenticity is the foundation of trust and respect.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Have you ever gotten what you wanted, and found it did not satisfy you?
True joy does not stem from material things. As much as I love cars, they are meant to be enjoyed, not idolized. What truly matters is investing in making eternal differences in the world, especially when our time here is over. I look at examples like Charlie Kirk, Martin Luther King Jr., Jesus Christ the anointed Son of God, Ronald Reagan, Winston Churchill, Billy Graham, Mother Teresa, George Washington, and C.S. Lewis. Each of them left a mark on history not because of material possessions but because of their faith, courage, and commitment to something greater than themselves.

When I was born, my father would lift me to the north, the south, the east, and the west, praying that I would become the greatest man to spread the Gospel. Perhaps I will never stand in a suit and tie behind a podium, but I believe there are many ways to spread the good news. If God makes me known, it may be through a different path, one where I use the platform He has given me to share His truth. As soon as I no longer need to work, my greatest desire is to devote myself fully to that mission.
