B3NZ0 shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
B3NZ0, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
My dream of making a music career. To be able to wake up and make music for a living is what i have wanted to do for long time.I think it’s my therapy as well if i stopped i would loose myself as a person to be completely honest.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I go by B3NZ0, I’m an artist coming out of a small-town background but bringing a big sound. My music mixes raw energy with storytelling—real life, the country grit, and the grind that built me. What makes me different is that I don’t try to fit into a box. I create from my own lane, blending that small-town perspective with a style that still hits hard anywhere. Right now, I’m working on new music and visuals that really show people who I am, and I’m excited to keep growing my brand and connecting with listeners who feel that same energy.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
Honestly, my family saw me clearly before I could even see myself. I remember being really young, singing George Strait at a family talent show with my little play guitar, or banging on pots and pans before I ever had real drums. Playing music at church, my Granny and Mamma especially, always supported and encouraged me. They believed in my talent way before I even understood it myself, and that foundation is a big reason why I keep pushing with my music today.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yeah, there were definitely times I thought about giving up. Coming from a small town, chasing music doesn’t always feel realistic, and there are moments where the doubts hit hard. But every time I feel like stopping, I think about why I started—those early days of making music, the people who believe in me, and how much I really love creating. That reminder keeps me going, and now I use those low points as fuel to push even harder.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
For me, the truth is that chasing what you love is worth the risk, even if people don’t get it at first. A lot of folks think you need a backup plan or a ‘safer’ route, but I believe putting everything into your passion is the only way to really win. Most people try to avoid it, but I think failing and learning from it is what really builds you.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m locked in with music—writing, recording, or just vibing to a beat. But I also find peace in the simple stuff, like riding through the country or being by the water with music playing. Both give me that calm where everything else fades away and it’s just me in the moment.
