We recently had the chance to connect with Judith Perritt and have shared our conversation below.
Judith, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I truly believe I am being called to serve others through my business. I have been given skills and passion to start this business, with a purpose far greater than my own success. Success is the ability to serve the community with my time and financial giving, and giving God the glory. I have dreamed of this business for many years, and am so grateful I took a leap of faith 3 years ago to start it.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello! My name is Judith Perritt, and I own and operate Let’s Eat! Catering. Our passion is bringing people together through food to celebrate all of life’s moments. We believe in faith, family, and freedom and serving others. We customize menus to suit your preferences, your vision, and your budget, while offering flavorful, fresh menu options. We have only been in business 3 years, and are slowly building our brand and growing our business.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
My parents taught me the most about work. They always set an example if being honest, doing your best, and hard work.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, I almost gave up on my business about 6 months after I started it. We weren’t getting business, and we were struggling to pay our bills. It took faith and trust in God, and the bills were always paid, and we slowly started to get business.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My faith.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I believe I am doing what I was born to do, and what God has called me to do.
