KRISTENICOLE ENTERTAINMENT shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
KRISTENICOLE, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
One recent moment that filled me with both joy and gratitude was being honored as Female Songwriter of the Year by the ISSA Awards in Atlanta, Georgia. It was such a humbling experience to have my work recognized on an international level. As someone who writes songs to glorify God and encourage others, this recognition reminded me that when you walk in obedience and pour your heart into what God has called you to do, He opens doors beyond what you could imagine. I’m so thankful for how He’s using the music to reach hearts around the world and that definitely makes me smile!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is KRISTENICOLE and I’m a Christian singer-songwriter with a heart for sharing God’s love and truth through music. My journey started with a simple desire to encourage others through the songs God placed on my heart, and over time, that calling has grown into a ministry that reaches people around the world. I write music that’s honest, faith-filled, and deeply rooted in Scripture. These songs speak to real-life struggles, victories, and the beauty of walking with Jesus.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A moment that really shaped how I see the world was when I began to realize how often people get stuck. So oftern we get stuck in pain, shame, fear, or just the weight of life. That understanding shifted something in me and in my mission as a songwriter. I started seeing music not just as a creative outlet, but as a calling to reach those places in people’s hearts where they feel unseen or forgotten. I believe we all have a deep, God-given desire to be fully known and fully loved and the beautiful truth is, that’s exactly what Jesus offers us. That realization continues to fuel my passion to write songs that speak life, healing, and hope into the lives of others.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, there were definitely moments I almost gave up. This industry can be incredibly overwhelming with so many decisions, so much uncertainty about what songs to release, what direction to take, and whether any of it is even making a difference. It can wear you down. But in those quiet, discouraging moments, God would send a reminder, a message from someone who said a song spoke to them right when they needed it, or that it helped them through a hard season. Realizing the music was actually being heard, and more importantly, that it was encouraging people, reignites the fire in me. None of this is about a platform but is completely about purpose. As long as God keeps calling me to it, I’m gonna do it.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. How do you differentiate between fads and real foundational shifts?
As a Christian artist, I’ve learned to stay prayerfully rooted in the Word and led by the Holy Spirit and I would say that’s how I discern the difference between passing fads and true foundational shifts. Trends come and go, even in ministry and music, but God’s truth never changes. Before making decisions, I ask: Does this align with God’s character? Is this building His Kingdom or just feeding into noise? Foundational shifts are usually marked by depth, fruit, and lasting impact. They draw people closer to Christ, not just into a moment. Fads are loud, fast, and often self-focused. Foundational moves are usually quiet at first but bear long-term fruit. For me, staying grounded in prayer, Scripture, and wise counsel has been key to both guarding my heart and keeping my heart aligned and my music purposeful.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
When I’m gone, I hope the story people tell about me isn’t just about the songs I wrote or the stages I stood on. I pray they’ll say that I loved God deeply and loved people well. That my music brought healing, hope, and encouragement, pointing people to Jesus who is the One who truly changes lives. I don’t want to just be remembered as a singer-songwriter; I want to be remembered as someone who used her gifts faithfully, who poured her heart into helping others feel seen, known, and fully loved by God. If that’s the legacy people share, then I’ll know I’ve done what I was called to do.
