Rachael Mann shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Rachael , thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Right now my days are a beautiful mix of creativity, preparation, and gratitude. I’m currently working on brand-new music, with an exciting single, Didn’t Have to Do It, set to release on September 5, 2025. This follows my most recent release, Unfiltered, which debuted on June 27, 2025, and has already been touching hearts and making its way onto radio playlists.
In between writing, recording, and preparing for new music to hit the airwaves, I’ve been traveling and singing at various events—each one an incredible opportunity to connect with people through music. My daily routine is a balance of working hard in the studio, rehearsing, and also taking time to enjoy the little things—like peaceful walks and soaking in the sunshine.
I’m truly excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share these new songs with listeners everywhere. Music has always been my way of spreading hope and encouragement, and I feel so blessed to be on this journey.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Rachael Mann, and I’m a music artist and songwriter. Right now, I’m working on new music that I’m so excited to share—my latest single, Unfiltered, came out on June 27, 2025, and my next song, Didn’t Have to Do It, releases on September 5, 2025.
I love creating songs that inspire hope and encourage people in their faith, and I’ve been blessed to share my music at churches, events, and even big moments like singing the national anthem for the Atlanta Braves, Savannah Bananas, and Kansas City Royals. When I’m not in the studio or traveling to sing, I enjoy simple things like taking walks and soaking up the sunshine. I’m truly grateful for this journey and excited for all that’s ahead.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
I think the part of me that has served its purpose and needs to be released is the constant need for perfection before sharing my music or stepping into opportunities. For a long time, I held back because I wanted everything to be “just right” before putting it out into the world. But I’ve learned that sometimes the imperfections are what make the message more real and relatable. Holding on to that need for perfection was keeping me from moving forward, so now I’m letting it go and choosing to trust God with the process, flaws and all.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, I did almost give up on my music journey when I was younger. There were many moments of doubt and challenges that made me question if I should keep going. But God truly chased me down through those difficult times. Along the way, several people came into my life with words of encouragement and support that reminded me of my purpose and gave me the strength to keep pursuing my dreams. I’m so grateful I didn’t give up, because every step has brought me closer to where I am today.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is a true reflection of who I am, but it’s also just one part of a much bigger journey. I strive to be authentic in my music and how I present myself, but like everyone, I have private moments of growth, struggle, and reflection that shape the real me behind the scenes. So, while the public Rachael Mann shares my heart through songs and performances, the full version of me continues growing every day.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
Yes, I am doing what I am called to do. While there have been moments when outside voices tried to steer me in different directions, I believe God has placed a unique purpose and calling on my life as a Christian music artist. I’m grateful every day to walk in that calling—using my voice and music to inspire, encourage, and share hope.
