We recently had the chance to connect with Spencer Bradley and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning Spencer, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
My fiancé Amalie! The thought of getting to live my life with her by my side makes me incredibly happy.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hey there!
My name is Spencer Bradley and I’m from hot springs Arkansas. I’ve lived in Nashville for the past 8 years playing music and touring with countless different artists. I now full time tour manage a group called “The Castellows”!
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
I would say my relationship with my family. I count my self very lucky to have grown up with the most loving and supportive siblings and parents. They’ve always believed in us and pushed us to do what we love even if that means moving to Nashville to try and “make it big” in the music industry!
I’m very lucky
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would say “it gets better”. I was bullied most of my time in school and never thought I would be where I am today.
I tell my self all the time that my younger self could never believe what I’m getting to experience on a daily basis now!
From living on a tour bus; to being friends with big time country artists; traveling the world and now being engaged to the love of my life!
I would say life has gotten better
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I would hope they would say love and respect because those two things mean the most. I was raised to love everyone the same and to treat “the janitor just as you would treat the CEO”.
Treat everyone with kindness
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
I honestly think so. In the music industry, just like many other jobs, it’s thankless. I’m behind the scenes now as a tour manger and I feel like if I do my job right no one will really notice but the second it’s wrong they will.
I don’t do it to be praised or acknowledged
