Cameron Watson’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

We recently had the chance to connect with Cameron Watson and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Cameron, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What is a normal day like for you right now?
I typically start my day early, waking up around 5:30 AM and heading to a workout by 6:15. Afterward, I shower and get ready for the day. Since it’s summer, my daughters are home from school, which changes the morning pace a bit. My husband heads out for his own workout and begins his workday shortly after.

I structure my workweek by categorizing each day as either a “Working Day” or a “Content Day” to maintain focus and efficiency.

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are operational working days. My assistant and I focus on managing wholesale accounts, coordinating accounts with our showroom, fulfilling both wholesale and retail orders, and organizing inventory across all platforms.
Tuesdays and Thursdays are content-focused. These are reserved for creating social and brand content, meeting with local boutiques, hosting Zoom calls, and working on new jewelry designs and collections.
I aim to wrap up work by 2:30 PM so I can fully transition into my most important role to being “Mommy” for the rest of the day.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Cameron Watson is a distinguished designer with over a decade of experience in the fashion and accessories industry. Known for her strong entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to thoughtful brand-building, she has successfully launched and scaled multiple businesses while nurturing a growing family.

Cameron is the founder of a high-end women’s handbag brand and a children’s lifestyle brand inspired by her eldest daughter, Brooklyn. Her jewelry line, Easton Elle Jewelry, was created in honor of her youngest daughter and is designed with the intention of one day being passed down to her. Each of these brands is rooted in a legacy of creativity, intention, and craftsmanship; built not only for today’s market but for the next generation.

She launched Easton Elle Jewelry in 2019, growing it organically through social media and influencer marketing. What began as a passion project quickly evolved into a nationally recognized brand, now featured in over 275 boutiques—including luxury resort destinations like Omni Resorts and The Hermitage Hotel in Nashville.

Every piece in the collection is handcrafted with semi-precious stones and genuine freshwater pearls, delicately dipped in 18k gold. Designed to be both timeless and versatile, Easton Elle Jewelry stands apart for its elegant, personal touch.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Honesty is the foundation of all lasting bonds. It builds the foundation for loyalty and trust, which are essential not just in personal relationships, but especially in business.

In every aspect of my brand, I lead with honesty. From how we speak to our customers to how we build partnerships, I believe transparency is what earns long-term loyalty. Our reputation is rooted in being reliable, ethical, and clear values that ultimately restore and strengthen the connections we have with others.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
In the beginning, one of my biggest fears was being told “no” by local boutiques. I would research stores that aligned with my brand, walk in, and ask to speak with the buyer or owner about carrying my jewelry. It was intimidating and I worried about rejection and how it might reflect on me or my work.

But I pushed through that fear and did it anyway. And with each visit, I became more confident. That persistence led to real results: many of those early walk-ins became my very first retail partners. Over time, I shifted my mindset from fearing rejection to realizing the worst thing someone can say is no. That small change helped me grow my business one boutique at a time.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely! I feel that my business and personal life naturally blend together. I genuinely love talking about business; whether it’s brainstorming new ideas, discussing growth strategies, or exploring ways to scale. I’ve found that I naturally surround myself with driven, hardworking women who share that same passion. There’s something incredibly energizing about exchanging ideas, learning from one another, and building each other up. I’m truly passionate about what I do and love connecting with others who feel the same.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If immortality were real, what would you build?
I would build a legacy. A name that creates generational wealth. Not just financial wealth, but a foundation of purpose, creativity, and opportunity that my family could continue to grow for generations. Something lasting, meaningful, and rooted in impact.
