Today we’d like to introduce you to Abigale Matthews.

Hi Abigale, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started doing photography as a hobby about four years ago. I would go second shoot weddings with a friend for fun, but over time I developed a love for the art. So, I started my own business about a year and a half ago, and I’ve just been growing ever since.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been many ups and downs throughout the process of growing my photography business. I would say one of my biggest struggles is that things are constantly evolving in this artistic area. It can be challenging to keep up with that constant change at times, especially while managing every other aspect of owning a business.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am an editorial wedding and couple photographer, specializing in capturing timeless, story-driven imagery. I take pride in creating a visual narrative that tells a story. What sets me apart is my perspective. I strive to tell each couples story in a way that is unique to them.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I always strive to have a strong collaborative community with other photographers! I have done many styled shoots, as well as just sat down to have coffee with them. The best way to support me and my business is to book a session and follow me on social media.
