Today we’d like to introduce you to Airica Puckett.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey began long before I ever considered myself a lifestyle influencer. I trained as a dental hygienist and helped build and operate the dental practice my husband and I own. At the same time, I was raising our three children, creating a home, and expressing my creativity through fashion, decorating, cooking, entertaining, and the traditions that make everyday life meaningful.
I began sharing those parts of my life online, and what started simply grew into a genuine community. Women connected with my approach to style—classic, Southern, and sometimes a little extra—as well as my belief that a beautiful life does not have to come from wearing the most expensive outfit or owning the most perfect home. It comes from thoughtfully combining high and low pieces, honoring the things that carry a story, and confidently making them your own.
Over time, Airica Puckett Style became a full lifestyle brand encompassing fashion, home, recipes, wellness, travel, family, and real life. Today, I am a full-time content creator with a community of more than 250,000 followers across my platforms. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with national brands, attend major fashion and creator events, and build several new extensions of my business.
What means the most to me is that my business grew from the life I was already living. I did not follow a perfectly mapped-out path; I continued learning, creating, and saying yes to opportunities that aligned with who I am. My goal has always been to encourage women—especially those entering a new season of life—to know that it is never too late to reinvent yourself, pursue a dream, or build something meaningful from the gifts and experiences you already have.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has certainly not always been a smooth road. To build a career in this industry, you have to be confident and develop a certain toughness within yourself.
I live in a small town, and when I began intentionally building my brand and consistently sharing lifestyle content, there were people who would say, “Who does she think she is?” “What is she doing?” or even, “What is an influencer, anyway?” I had to learn to stay in my own headspace, believe in the vision God had placed on my heart, and remain focused on my career goals—even when others did not understand them.
There have also been occasional direct messages and even anonymous letters sent through the mail from people I refer to as “cowards”—people who hide behind a screen or refuse to sign their names while intentionally saying hurtful things.
Although I am not thankful for the cruelty itself, I can look back now and see how those experiences pushed me to grow and excel. I treated each one almost like an exercise: I read the words, honestly evaluated whether there was anything constructive I could learn from them, and then released the rest. I used the criticism as motivation to work harder, become better, and prove to myself that I was capable of reaching the goals I had set.
Most importantly, those experiences gave me the opportunity to pray for the person behind the words. Hurtful criticism could have stopped me, but instead, I allowed it to strengthen my confidence, deepen my faith, and push me forward.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a full-time lifestyle influencer, content creator, and the founder of Airica Puckett Style—a personal brand built around the belief that women can continue evolving, discovering their style, and pursuing new dreams at every stage of life.
I create relatable, aspirational content centered on fashion, beauty, home, entertaining, recipes, wellness, travel, family, and Southern traditions. I am best known for mixing timeless style with a little something unexpected, combining high-end investment pieces with affordable finds, and showing women—especially those over 40—how to make trends work for their real lives. Through social media, shopping platforms, and my editorial journal, I introduce my audience to products, ideas, and experiences that can help them feel more confident and create a life they love.
As a creator, I do much more than post photographs. I conceptualize campaigns, style and photograph products, produce and edit videos, write stories, analyze performance, cultivate an engaged community, and build meaningful partnerships between brands and consumers. I have grown my platforms to a combined audience of more than 250,000 followers while remaining rooted in the same small Tennessee town where my journey began.
I am most proud that I built this career by trusting my own vision and consistently showing up—even before the people around me understood what an influencer was. I transitioned from working as a dental hygienist and helping operate our family’s dental practice to building a successful digital business of my own. Along the way, I have had opportunities to collaborate with respected national brands, attend industry events, and create a loyal community that values my recommendations and trusts the person behind them.
What sets me apart is that I do not present a perfectly staged life or confine myself to one narrow category. Airica Puckett Style reflects the full, evolving life of a woman: marriage, motherhood, faith, fashion, business, health, home, family traditions, and the courage to begin something new. I approach every partnership with the perspective of both a creative storyteller and a business owner. My audience knows that when I share something, it has been thoughtfully selected, genuinely used, and presented in a way that feels personal rather than transactional.
Ultimately, my work is about more than influencing someone to purchase a product. It is about influencing women to believe in themselves, express who they are, care for the life they have built, and recognize that it is never too late to create what comes next.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is also where so much of my confidence, creativity, and love for business began.
When I was in seventh grade, my mother and grandmother opened a boutique in our small town called “Airica’s Unique Boutique.” From the beginning, they taught me that owning a boutique involved far more than beautiful clothes. I learned real business responsibilities—from attending market and placing orders to working within a seasonal budget, steaming apparel, styling storefront windows, and, most importantly, developing strong people and sales skills. The boutique remained open until I married eight years later. Looking back, I realize that experience gave me far more confidence than I understood at the time and helped prepare me for the career I have today.
Some of my sweetest memories also involve the three of us creating together. I loved sketching dresses for proms, pageants, parades, and costumes. My mother and grandmother would stay up all hours of the night sewing and bringing my ideas to life. Long before I even knew the word “bespoke,” I understood how special it was to wear something created just for me. In my eyes, they could make anything I could dream or draw.
I only wish I had learned to sew alongside them—but it is still on my bucket list. Their creativity, work ethic, and belief in my ideas helped shape the woman, business owner, and content creator I am today.
