Today we’d like to introduce you to Albert jones.
Albert, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m a photographer based out of Louisville Kentucky. So I started photography in 2010. That’s the year my best friend had died to a drug overdose. I went to his funeral, I brought a camera with me So I can take pictures of him and I knew that was the last Time I would get to see him. Took pictures of his dead body and the family that day with my point and shoot camera I was no professional by any means however I just wanted to capture him and his last moments.
Later that night I left my camera in my car thinking Nothing of it, woke up the next morning headed out for work and I noticed someone had broke into my car they stole My camera equipment and my CD tape deck at the time. I was so devastated because they stole my camera And I wouldn’t have any more picture memories of my best friend.
Shortly after that, I purchased a new camera at the time it was called a DSLR professional grade camera. I am what you call a self-taught photographer. I learned the majority of What I know from YouTube, I Got serious then I started taking classes. A lot of my first class assignments I had to take portraits of my kids. I fell in love with taking portraits of them, I was interested in camera features, loved the technical side of Photography more so than the Arts.
If you look at my body of work now you will definitely see more technical style When it comes to lighting and how to light subjects.
Over the course of time, I’ve had The opportunity to Photograph different Genres of photography. I’ve been able to build great relationships over the years with my photography.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
it differently hasn’t been a smooth road, I have to learn so much and I’m still learning especially when it comes to the business side of photography. I kind of wish I would’ve learned that part first but it’s all in the process.

I’m a professional photographer who specialize in making people look and feel good during our photoshoots. I’m proud of myself for not giving up on my dream of doing photography full-time. my unique style sets me apart from other photographers.

My family is what matters and means the most to me. they are my why, they are the reason I keep grinding so hard. I want them to know what hard work is and looks like.
