Check Out Alexander Witherspoon’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexander Witherspoon.

Alexander, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Alexander Witherspoon. I’m from Clarksville, Tennessee. I’m the oldest of five children raised in a single-parent home. My mother was a strong-willed woman full of dedication and raised us to be very responsible and to have morals and standards that would ensure we reached heights far beyond what was expected of just “Regular kids”. My family was very much so rooted in Christianity and my entire family is very much so musically talented.

Some of my greatest accomplishments are from my music career. I’ve received the best artist, the best album as well as best talent numerous amounts of times. I’ve written music for celebrities as well as rising stars. I’m the head CEO and leader at Nu Money Ent. My own Indy Recording Label. I was in the military for ten years and am also a 2-year vet. The biggest experience of my life was the spiritual awakening and spiritual warfare I endured after my younger brothers passing. At age 30, my brother Jordan passed away in a car accident that left me devastated. Two days after the separation of my wife and me of 12 years.

To say, I was overwhelmed would be an understatement. I was facing more turmoil than anyone could ever imagine. At that time, I was offered millions of dollars to sign a record deal that I turned down because I knew it was demonic in nature and the timing was off. The discernment as well as the dreams and signs I was getting ensured me I was correct about the situation at hand. This caused me to put a hold on pursuing my musical dreams and I began chasing God. I was curious to know His plan and purpose for my life.

God saved me in this warfare I was up against. I was filled with grief, and heartache and was living in darkness yet, God had a calling on my life, I heard the trumpets… literally and here I stand. This experience alone sets me apart from other students and applicants. This is my truth and testimony a surefire way to let me know I was “chosen”. My unique ability, as well as my wordplay from music, will make an excellent combination to ensure my transition into spreading the word is smooth and exciting. Being 34, I feel as though I can connect with the youth on another level as well as being mature enough to keep the attention of the elders and be able to relate to the older generation.

Many of the obstacles I have faced in life include a 12-year marriage ending in a divorce and military deployments. Divorce made me learn to love unconditionally and express God’s love even when things don’t go the way you see them play in your mind. Military deployments taught me that life isn’t promised and every day should be counted as a blessing. Fasting, prayer, supplication, and meditating on the word helped me to regain focus and allowed me to prosper in the hardest parts of my life. Voyager, I’m asking you all to help me share this great news. Help me get the cure and share the right answer to the masses, who are facing bigger problems or problems similar.

My long-term goal is to become a leader in the community and become an empty vessel available for the use of God. Saving souls is my number one priority these days. I have a nonprofit named after my brother called spoon strong to help single parents who have lost a father in the household. my pallet company helps keep the community clean by pallet transport removal and supply it is called J and S Pallets.

And my label Nu money Ent. only makes positive music to lift the community and teaches them some game in a positive way. All in all, I’m a new creative entrepreneur looking to spark the minds of the youth and share love and God with our world. Let’s connect!!!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Yes, it has been a smooth road. My struggles are learning to make myself small, our whole life we are taught not to cry. Be loud. Be taught. I had to learn to grieve. Be vulnerable. Be patient and hear God. Take your time and use your gifts for God, not your selfish ambitions.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a rapper and singer-songwriter. Alleykat Numoney is my rap name. I’ve made a lot of secular music for my independent label Nu Money Ent. But I no longer make music like that anymore I only make uplifting music. I want to use my music to influence God. J and S Pallets is my pallet company we recycle transport as well as supply pallets keeping our community clean.

And spoon strong is my nonprofit dedicated to giving back to the single moms who lost fathers and just giving back to the community in general. What sets me apart is that I’m led by God. I try to walk with him and I come from a place I feel people can recognize it is genuine.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
God deserves all the credit. But Jordan my brother gave me all my inspiration. He was my rock the rock of my family.

He showed me a great example of a father husband son and brother as well as an uncle. Before he died, he named his daughter Jordin. But his wife and he always wanted a son.

When he died, they took his sperm, and here a year later just last month she had their son Jaxxon, my nephew… So, he still lives with us we are spoon strong and I was able to see a miracle from God.
