Check Out Amore’ Dear’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amore’ Dear

Hi Amore’, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey has been anything but linear, but each chapter has been connected by a deep love for creating experiences that bring people together. I started my career in event coordination with Middle Tennessee State University, where I studied Organizational Communications and received my Bachelor’s Degree in 2019. What began as a way to help friends and family soon grew into a full-service business, handling everything from family friendly gatherings to university/corporate functions. I found joy in turning my clients’ visions into reality and creating moments that people would cherish forever.

While building my event planning skills, I felt a pull toward another passion—acting. Storytelling has always been at the heart of what I do, and acting gave me a new way to express that. Stepping in front of the camera allowed me to tap into my creative side while connecting with audiences in a more personal and emotional way. Balancing both worlds was challenging, but I found that my skills as an event coordinator—attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage moving parts—helped me thrive in the entertainment industry.

More recently, I’ve begun exploring another exciting avenue—interviewing. My work has always centered on human connection, and interviewing allows me to dive deeper into people’s stories. I love creating a comfortable space where individuals can share their journeys, passions, and insights. Whether I’m coordinating an event, performing on stage, or leading an interview, my mission remains the same: to craft meaningful experiences that leave a lasting impact.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has definitely not been smooth, but every challenge has shaped me into the multi-faceted creative and professional I am today. One of the biggest struggles has been time management—balancing my work as an event coordinator, actress, and interviewer while still holding down a full-time corporate job. Each role demands its own level of focus and creativity, so finding the time and energy to give my best to all of them is an ongoing challenge. It’s a balancing act, but my passion for each pursuit keeps me going.

Being based in Nashville also comes with its own unique challenges, especially as an up-and-coming actress. The city is known for its rich music culture, which can make it difficult to find consistent opportunities in film and television especially as an African American woman. But I believe that where there are challenges, there are also opportunities. I’ve learned to seek out creative spaces, network with like-minded individuals, and carve my own path rather than waiting for doors to open.

Another hurdle has been promoting myself and my services on social media. In today’s digital world, visibility is everything, but it can be tough to consistently showcase my work while staying authentic. I’m constantly learning how to market myself effectively while maintaining the heart and purpose behind everything I do.

A more personal struggle is the worry of not fully shining in my own light. When you wear multiple hats, there’s always the concern that one part of your identity will overshadow the others. I’m constantly working on owning all aspects of who I am—whether I’m coordinating an event, acting on screen, or leading an interview—and trusting that each piece contributes to the bigger picture of my story. Despite these obstacles, every struggle has taught me valuable lessons—about perseverance, self-belief, and the power of staying true to my vision. I’m still on the journey, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited for what’s ahead.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Right now, my primary focus is on acting and interviewing—two passions that allow me to connect with people and tell compelling stories in different ways. As an actress, I’m excited about several upcoming projects that will be available for streaming on Tubi in late 2025 and 2026. I’ll be featured in the films “Eye of the Catfish,” directed and produced by Kaitlyn Williams and Timmons Productions, and “ENDURE,” directed by Artisha Ledford and produced by Actin Up Media. Each role has been an incredible opportunity to grow as a performer and share meaningful narratives with a wider audience. You can also watch my episode “Apple for the Teacher” Season 4, Episode 8 of Name That Tune streaming on Hulu.

As for interviewing, I love creating a space where people feel comfortable sharing their stories and experiences. I’ve had the privilege of interviewing a diverse range of inspiring individuals, including Jason Ridgle, owner of Guidance Whiskey; Carlos Partee, co-owner of the Nashville Black Market and DJ host for 91.1 FM Nashville; Matthew Mims, NWA Professional Wrestler; and the renowned actor and comedian DJ Pryor. I’ve also had the pleasure of interviewing many Nashville artists such as: Kicks Kapri, Symbasyd, Pimp Fried Rice, Pesotaxin, Zil and many more. Each conversation allows me to highlight unique voices and share their journeys with a broader audience.

What sets me apart is my ability to blend creativity with authenticity across multiple disciplines. My background in event coordination has honed my organizational skills and attention to detail, which seamlessly translates into my work as an actress and interviewer. Whether I’m breathing life into a character, leading impactful conversations, or organizing detailed events, I bring passion, professionalism, and a deep commitment to storytelling to everything I do. This versatility allows me to engage with people from all walks of life while maintaining a genuine connection and delivering high-quality work. I’m especially proud of how far I’ve come. Every project I take on is a reflection of my commitment to hard work, creativity, and human connection. I’m excited about what’s ahead and look forward to sharing more of my journey as it unfolds.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I truly believe that no one succeeds alone, and I’m incredibly grateful for my close friends who have been my biggest cheerleaders. Their unwavering belief in me has given me the confidence to pursue my passions, even when the road hasn’t been easy. I also recognize the power of self-love and the importance of believing in myself. At the end of the day, family isn’t always defined by blood but by the people placed along your journey to bless and uplift you. Their support, encouragement, and honest feedback have been invaluable, and my own commitment to growth and self-empowerment has been a driving force in everything I do.
